hey guys.. im going to start writing a new book, called Riding Through Time , i can tell u its going to be about vampires (preferably a fan-fic of twilight) and a horse (coz i luv em). Chapter 23

I brushed a finger down the spine of the book. Taking a deep breath, I flipped it open and started searching for the section I needed, that would explain everything. I flicked the pages continuously until I saw the heading of the chapter: 'Legend Of The James'. I could feel my breathing pick up slightly and my heart pumped in my chest a little faster than normal. With shaking hands, I rest my finger on my first word and began to read.

The Legend of the James has been known as a myth since the beginning of time, and has been discovered a few hundred years ago that the myth is actually true. Is has been told that a 'James' posesses extraodinary power, even more so than The Dark Lord. When a young witch or wizard, normally at the age of 11 or 12, is chosen by the ghosts of the past, a spiral tattoo is formed on the person's palm. Another tell-tale sign is that when the child gets it's first wand, it will be one-of-a-kind. White, bejeweled and elegant; the way it has been for thousands of years.

 If chosen, it means the person is destined for an extraordinary future, maybe saving the Wizarding World, or stopping the forces of evil. To tell who is the holder of the title, the person's hair and eyes will swap and change colours to suit their mood, for example, red for anger. It is known for the hair and eye colours to be different. Also, the holder will be able to wish for anything in the world, and that thing will appear out of the tattoo, but the holder has to be careful, as the items may come with consequences. The tattoo is able to protect the holder for as long as it is on skin.

 After a series of tests by the ghosts of the past, unknown to the holder of the tattoo, the tattoo will become perminantely etched on to the skin, and the colour of the person's hair and eyes will stay like that forever. When the process is over, the tattoo holder is officially one of the James, and is destined for great things. Amazing things will happen, as the James will be able to have new, undiscovered powers inside of them, and somewhere in the world, they have a soulmate. To tell who was there soulmate, the holder is said to be able to feel a strong 'pull' towards the said person and have loving feelings towards them. They will be a natural-born leader.  Also, when the holder of the tattoo reaches the age of 14, they will transform into a creature. Unfortunately, the transformational creature is currently unknown.

 The James ancestry is a very peculiar case indeed, as it has been proven that not one holder is related to the other, it is as if the holder is chosen randomly. The last holder known was a witch by the name of Mary Catapolte, who lived in Manchester, England, until 1997, when she died of a dragon attack. The question is, who is the next James, and will he or she prove to live up to what they are known for?   - written by Harold Buttdole- 2003.

Well, that certainly explained things. So, I take it that is how I survived my death-jump? My tattoo protected me? Hold up, did that just say I am stronger than The Dark Lord? I'm stronger than my own father, who kills people, what, like everyday? That has to be impossible. An eleven year old is older than a serial killer. Freaky. So, that means I have 'undiscovered powers' inside me? I wonder what they'll be... I'LL TURN INTO A CREATURE AT THE AGE OF 14?!? Okay, what's messed up about that? Erm, everything? Then I started laughing. Seriously? Soulmate? Haha, what is this? A little princess fairytale my nanny used to read me? Soulmates, as if.
