A Strange Call

I couldn't find anything on her in the book.  Also Montana is not by the sea but there are lakes but in the book it says mermaids live in the ocean. Damnit. Maybe I'm stuck like this forever. I get hunted down and I'm monster chow.

I run my hand down my face . What am I going to do! I have to find Norah and Stefan. Stefan. He could be anywhere. Do I just leave or do I stay and get the chance of being empty of blood.

My thoughts are interrupted by my phone ringing in my pocket. Wonder who it could be. I know it couldn't be any of my friends because I have no friends. I ignored it. The disadvantages of being a hunter. My life.

I need a drink. I'm 17. What the Hell. I snatched some at the motel checking in desk when the lady was occupied with a man in between her legs. Gross I know. I just snatched and drank it. I was interrupted with my phone ringing in my back pocket again.

I answer and a teenage boy said " Hello is this Red?" The caller is Kyle. The boy I meet at Joes dinner and hunting camp. I never came back to train them. Oops.

" Hey this is Red. Why are you calling Kyle?"
He answered " the whole camp has been destroyed. They said they were looking for you. I got away with a few survivors. You need to hide Red."
" I can't. You need to be the one to hide. There will be evil that will rule the world. Be safe. Meet me in Montana at these coordinates and I will call again in 2 hours alright."

I texted him the coordintes.
" One more thing Red. The beast acnologia can take human form. I found that out when he and monsters destroyed the camp. His human form took the name ......"

Kyle's end went silent and then there was screams.  Then there was a loud roar. A roar that would make your ears bleed.

"Kyle. Kyle. Kyle!"

No answer. I shut my phone and collected my stuff. I will head to Montana and Stefan knows that. So maybe I'll find him on the way. I went out the door and drove away in the stolen car from the hospital.

I just hope for whatever happened to Kyle was fast.
