We have been walking on foot for two hours and it's already dark. I have my mom' a letter, and the coordinates.  Okay we just need to walk until we find a car.

We were in the outskirts of Montana. We tried to hitch hike but Stefan looks like an escapee and I look like a rat.  We walked until our feet felt like Jello.

We both dropped to the ground and laid there to catch our breath.

"Mash, I am too tired to go on. Can we stop and rest until morning." He looked over at me.

I looked at him and sighed. "I am to tired to argue with you. I am going to start a fire."

I got up and stretched. I yawned and trudged over to my pack. I pulled out a foldable ax.

Stefan stared at me. " Where in the hell do you find a foldable ax. When did they make those?!"

"Mhmm I made it. It's pretty easy if you know how to do it. I can make you one if you would like. But fire I'm going to chop for firewood.

Stefan nodded. "You know you can just find sticks and small wood on the ground."

I ignored his comment and I walked into the woods to find a tree that was small and easier for me to cut down.

I think swinging and ax is badass. Probably after 48 minutes I chopped a tree down into small chunks. I was already tired at it is. I picked up the wood and carried it back.

Stefan was already dozing off by a tree. I slammed the firewood down and he jolted up.

"That's for sleeping when I was doing work. Now you get to start the fire." I huffed.

He mumbled something which I could pick up with my werewolf hearing.

"Thanks for calling me a slave driver." I said sarcastically.

He glared and got down to make the fire. I sat down happily and grabbed some some licorice out of my pack.

"Can I have some?" Stefan asked after he got the fire started and sat against a nearby tree.

"No you cannot! I got these from Lyon,France about a month ago. I only have one left! You can have this."

I tossed him some crackers. He looked at me with a "really?!" look. I smiled evilly and got out the book of supernaturals. I looked it over. I got an idea. I tossed through my bag and found a piece of paper and pen.

In the paper I wrote...

Species: Hybrid
First Seen: Montana
Population: 1
Looks: Like a human but in hybrid form it has razor sharp teeth, large claws, yellow eyes. Can transform into a wolf. Hybrid is a mix of a vampire and werewolf.

I placed the paper into the book and shut it. I slipped it into my bag and laid down. I looked at the brightly shining stars. Thoughts came swirling through my head.

What if I don't get the cure? What if I'm too late. Who is Exactly Eve and Acnologia?!

Ugh! Why is my life so messed up!

I sighed and heard Stefan snoring. No way. I can not even deal with right now.

I got and trudged over there. Little did I know he left his plastic cracker wrapper on the ground in a wet muddy area. My foot went right on it and I slipped. I was falling towards Stefan.
I landed right on top of him and he lets big groan.

"Did you really have to land on m..." He started. He looked at me weirdly and I stared back into his blue eyes. I never noticed how blue they were. I was leaning in toward his face. Wait what!? What am I doing! Hazel get it together.

I scrambled off of him and turned bright red.
" Um it was your fault for letting me land on you. You were uh snoring and I had slipped on your wrapper!"

He noticed my redness and smirked. "Well you shouldn't have given me crackers then. You should have given me some of your French licorice!"

I was speechless. I finally came out with, " Fine you win! I'm going to bed. We need to head out early so be up!"

I flipped the other way and pulled my jacket over my head. I heard Stefan laugh and then he went to sleep.

What did I just do!? I was about to kiss Stefan Michaelson! Okay get it together. Even Mom said not to kiss him! I just need to get some sleep and everything will be fine in the morning.....I hope.
