Heavy And Kill Boxes

Everyone was safe in the school. Many were treating each other and sleeping.
Stefan and I was going around to help patch up some of the people but some could heal quickly because of what they were. For those who could stand and move, we put them on the task of treating others and the ones who could not move were to get rest. Unfortunately there was a lot that could not move and the number of people total here is low to begin with.
Many had died in the battle. They were left on the battle field or were carried outside of the school put into piles.

With the people who could walk and help, we made rounds to be on the look out to see if anything was coming our way.

Acnologia hasn't been spotted yet nor Eve. Their forces are gone or at least what we think. All I need to do is take down Acnologia then Eve. Easier said then done.

I walked around the halls, making sure everyone made it in safely and needed anything. I ran out of supplies soon enough and decided that I need to hit the nearest store. There was one in town from what I remember but it wasn't very big. The big store was in the  next town over.

I grabbed a few boxes from a storage closet and headed out the front school doors. Before I could even walk down the steps, a hand grabbed my arm.

"What do you think you're doing!"

I turned my head to look back and there was Stefan with a pissed off look.

"What!" I yelled and threw my hand back.

"You're going off alone in the dark with no weapons. Don't go out there! Are you going kill someone with that box!"

I scoffed. "Haha... I'm getting supplies for the ones who couldn't get any for your information. And no I'm not going to kill "something" with a box. I have this!" I pulled out a knife from my boot.

"Now don't act like your my boyfriend now and tell me what to do! I can handle myself. I've been alone for my whole life! I don't need you!" I shouted.

We stared at each other and then he turned his back to me and shouted,
"Fine. Go! Its not my fault if you need help carrying things back or get attacked! I was just looking out for you. A boyfriend isn't the only one that looks out for people. Since you don't need me, I'll just help inside!"

He stomped back inside and I stuck out my tongue out.

Geeez that boy. I'm just going to the store and back! I'm a hunter! I can take care of myself. Just because I made out with, doesn't make him my boyfriend that tells me what to do. I'm doing the good thing to help the people.

The thing is that I was a bit harsh. I could see his view. He was just looking out for. He was caring which no one ever has. I could get attacked and have no help. Ughhhhh. Why am I like this?!

I blew it with Stefan and now I'm a big jerk.

I walked off to the store and filled in the boxes with supplies. I got food, first aid, water, matches, flashlights, blankets, and just some simple things to pass time with. I walked out the door but stopped and turned back. I grabbed some money out of my pocket and placed it on the counter. They'll thank me later.

I walked back to the school with the heavy boxes in my hands. It would be easier to have someone else carry the other box. Now I just need a way to apologize to Stefan. I just think I'm always right. I'm a stubborn fool.

I set down the boxes on the ground to stretch my arms and was about to pick them up again but a light caught my attention.

It seemed to be a flashlight light coming from the woods. I took out my knife from my boot and slowly made my way towards the light.

"Who's there!?" I yelled as I was getting closer.

The light flashed in my eyes and I couldn't see anything.

"Hazel?!"

The light pointed towards the ground and I could finally see who who it was.

It was Joe.

The Joe who took me under his wing and how I became a hunter. The man who asked me to help train some hunters way back. Wasn't very fond of him but why is he here?

"Joe?! Why are you here?"

"It's nice to see you too Hazel. My place was taken down by a supernatural army. It seems something big is happening. I heard I could find you here." He explained.

"Wow..I got a call from a hunter named Kyle saying that Acnologia hit the place. Since you said any army was there, that sounds like overkill.... no offense." I scoffed.

" Oh yes. Hunters were taken out left and right. I managed to escape but I think I'm the only one." He said.

"Well there's nothing to do about it now. There's a war right now. The army was taken out and now I have to face a dragon and a mother beast. There's a specific way I have to defeat Eve and a whole bunch of shit that you have to catch up on but I'll tell you when we get to the school where my army and I are holding up. Let's go".

"No just say it on the way!" He yelped and grabbed my arm.

"Okay okay. Chill. Let me get these boxes." I said defensive.

I picked up the boxes which he didn't even help with. I walked in front and him in back.

I explained how I have a special cure and blah blah the plan to defeat the monsters left.

"Interesting." He nodded

"Huh?" I said without looking back at him.

"WATCH OUT HAZEL! BEHIND YOU!" Someone yelled.

I squinted at who was at the steps at the school. I was Stefan pointing behind me.

I turned around to see eyes I could never forget. Eyes of a monster. Acnologia's eyes.

Joe had Acnologia's eyes. He swung something sharp at me but I jumped backed in shock.

"I know. A big surprise. The man who trained you turns out to be a monster. You didn't even realize it in all of the years. I thought you were smarter Hazel." He smirked.

He started to shift. Bones were cracking and flesh was turning into scales. He was turning into a dragon. He was turning into Acnologia.

Joe is Acnologia.
