"Well I think someone hypnotized us." Stefan said.

Wait...WHAT!

"How could someone possibly hypnotize us with a necklace. Well it was actually me that had the necklace but why would it hypnotize us both." I spat out.

"How could I know. But the necklace has a love charm on it. It like a distraction. It was probably a witch. The witch cast a spell to distract us." He said back.

So the lady I saw was a witch. That could explain some of the things I saw but why couldn't I detect that and her eyes.

" Where did you get it from? Do you remember?" He barked.

" Yeah I do. It was some woman with long black hair and a long white dress. She worked at a jewelry shop but someone about her was weird. I couldn't detect anything from her. There was her creepy but beautiful smile. Also her eyes. The were black with flames. I've never seen anything like that and I've seen a lot of things. Witches don't change eye colors. I know that from Bonnie." I paced around trying to remember every detail.

" I don't know Mash. She could still be a witch. The thing that we do know is that she wanted to distract us for something. I think that something is either Norah or the cure." He pointed out.

" Alright. Oh I forgot to mention because of the uh uh the thing we just did but this is my hometown. My house isn't far from here. It's at the end of the other side of the town. I think there are some remains of it left but I haven't visited since that night." I crossed my arms.

He did the same and said, " This changes a lot of things Mash! This whole thing centers you. Maybe you just need to remember and you will know where to find the cure or Norah. We can go to your house and see if anything helps you. We got to hurry because that witch wants the same thing."

" How am I suppose to remember! I can't just jump into my brain and search for it. It's not that easy! I was just a kid! On the other hand my house is burned down. There are now just burned remains and bad memories!" I yelled.

He looked at me and put his hands up in defense.

"Sorry. We can go. It's fine. It's just I haven't been there since I was little and I've been afraid to go back. I know what you must be thinking. Oh the fearless hunter called Red is afraid of her burned house. Oh what a baby!"

Stefan stopped me at that and put his hand on my shoulder. " I would never say that. I get it. I can go check it out by myself. You can stay here and find that witch."

I shook my head. " No way. It's about time I go back. I might remember like you said." I smiled and so did he.

"Did you get enough sleep before the whole...uh...incident?" I mumbled.

He picked up what I had said and nodded. "By the way, you are great kisser."

He did not just say that. I turned red like a tomato. I turned away so he couldn't see but he already did. He smirked and I gave him a little punch.

We packed up our things from the motel and signed out. After that we either walk or break into a car to get to the other end of town. I prefer breaking into a car but Stefan insisted that we walked. In the end we played Rock Paper Scissors to see who would win. With my luck Stefan won so we walked.

We walked in silence until Stefan said, "You've gone soft. When I first met you, you were all berserk and yelled all the time." He acted out what would be me.

"That's true. I would have left you behind ages ago if I hadn't changed. Look you actually did something good." I laughed.

"Hey!" He pouted.

I laughed again. "Just teasing! You actually made my life better. When I first met you, you were really annoying and cocky all the time. You still are but now you are really nice to talk to. You make my horrible life a little better. Thanks for sticking with me through this."

He smiled very big. A smile better than that witch's. "What kind of person would I be if I didn't."

The house can up. The house that is burned. The house where I grew up to a little girl. The house where I smiled and laughed. The house where I cried and screamed. The house where I lost everything. The house is my home. And now I'm standing right in front of it awaiting what cis inside. Here goes nothing. Well...something.
