Chapter [10]

Chapter 10: Humans

Tori: Push open the door Carly. Don't worry I'll be here, I won't go not now or forever. You can do this, if you can't handle it I can always take over.

Tori's little words of reassurance had my hands pushing the wooden handle of the office door.

Inside I sniffed out three scents one which was my Gamma, Ronan's. The other two we're the human boys.

Walking over towards the desk we're Ronan sat, I mind link him a thank you before he got up and lent me the chair and went out of room with a firm shut of the door and a silent 'mind link me if you need me, I'll be around waiting for you'.

Clearing my throat, I nod at the boy's who are sitting in front of me.

Even though my blindness meant I couldn't see I sniffed out the two scents which came from the direction in front of me.
I embrace that I'm blind using everything else to my advantage, plus not many know i'm blind or know I'm a female Alpha.

Shuffling the chair more forward to get more comfortable.

I begin interrogating.

"First of let's start of with introductions. You may have heard of me, I'm Alpha Johnson.
Fully my name is Alpha Carly Johnson. Alpha of the Johnson pack, if you don't know we are the most feared no one would like to disrespect me or against orders unless the want to face death quicker than they imagined." I let out a low furious growl.

I heard two gulps and smirked for a second before returning it to its emotionless look.

"Now may I ask who you two are?"

"No-o?" the boy who I bumped into started to stutter.

I let a growl escape my mouth, hearing the boy jump made me let out a low chuckle. My unconfirmed mate gave a slight slap to the boy who let out a low ouch!.

Sitting forward so that we we're much closer I repeat,

"Now may I ask who you two are?"

The boy mumbles out, "I'm Jay and this is my older brother Jayson next to me."

"Good. Now that wasn't hard"

A weak No was heard from both boys.

"Let me get the obvious question out first. Although this isn't my land I need to know why are you two humans amongst us werewolves?"

I hear my unconfirmed mate- I mean Jayson, clear his throat.

"I'm really sorry Alpha Carly, we are step brothers to one of the pack members of Alpha Lucas. Our human mum, mine and Jay's married Jake- the pack member's- werewolve dad because she is his true mate and Jake's mum wasn't, she died during a pack war. Honestly, I didn't take it easy that she remarried after my real dad was killed in the army,"taking a breath and remembering the feeling of loss he carries on , " then my mum met someone when she realised she should let herself have happiness again she let a man into her life who gave her such sparks her blue eyes that were lifeless broke out of it's shell and began to twinkle. When Jakes dad- Donny- knew when the time was right he told us all what he was my mum surprising didn't have a heart attack she took it well and he made us move in with him a year ago and now look here we are. Oh, mm-y, sorry forgive me Alpha Carly I'm rattling-"

The way he said my name was giving me such pleasurable shivers and saying my name again made me let out a growl of approval which I quickly turned into a cough and clear of a throat.

The feeling of warmth rushed to my cheeks but we're gone the second it came.

"It's okay, I understand. Thank you for telling me. If I didn't know, I know for sure my mind wouldn't have been at ease like it is now as I would have probably assume your hunters undercover or something but even if you hadn't told me I would have gotten one of my pack my members to do a background research on the both of you."
Honestly leaked out of my mouth and I give a nod and with a 'that was all, thank you'.

The two brothers get up to leave, I get up as well walking behind the two.

Tori: Mate. Mate. Gosh his scent.

Carly: Tori. Get a grip, I know he smells like the definition of heaven but I need to concentrate.

Tori: No you don't, be free for once.

Growling in my mind I breathe in my heavenly smelt mate, just that alone made my head clear of any negative thoughts.

Opening my link with Ronan. I tell him that I was done and that he should get some sleep as tomorrow training will Start for the Red Moon pack, a final goodnight was exchanged and I close the link.

Feeling a warmth close next me as I close the office door. I realise my mates scent was amplified. I sniff around subtly and realise his brother was long gone and it was just me and him left. I turn towards him.

"Yes?" my voice had changed from it's firm, cold and calculating tone to a much more softer and inviting tone.

I felt a shiver of response and Tori howled lightly in my head in happiness.

"I j-ust w-ant," clearing his throat his voice's turns into a sleepy husky tone, "I would just like to say goodnight."

His body that screams for me to touch and worship turns away, to leave not before touching me, giving me the most beautiful experience we're my body tingled in such a way a desire to reach and feel the same igniting came over me.

As I pulled myself together, Jayson was not far of from me as I replied,

"Night"

Shaking my head, I pep talk myself into staying the way I am, firm, cold and calculating.

I take a deep breath and head towards the room I'll be staying in, hopefully I could get a good sleep. Although deep down I know I wouldn't be able to rest without Jayson by my side.

I type on my phone and that can take a while (plus auto correct can be a real pain) so that is one reason even though I have a laptop I don't use it for wattpad I'm not really bothered with switching it on and all that jazz.
