Chapter [13]

Chapter 13: Mine!

I simply was frozen, my mate lay on the ground in complete pain.

My senses we're completely on alert.

I got out of my paralyzed state when I took in the deep smell of my mate.

He let out a sexy groan. Which received a low moan from me.

I quickly cough to cover the noise made from me. It suddenly hit me, my mate was in heat.

Tori: want mate, now!

Tori was trying to take control and I struggled to maintain giving her that control.

My hands we're gripping my knee, and I breath in deeply smelling my mate to calm myself.

"Alpha Female"

"Alpha Carly"

People struggled to get hold of me.

Tori was half in control, and menacingly growled,

"Mine! My mate"

There were many gasps and everyone went quite. Scared of what was going to happen.

A low husky groan was made by Jayson, and my wolf growled in approval.

My breathing became ragged and quickly in Alpha tone said to all the pack members,

"Out! I need you guys out!"

Everybody scrabbled out knowing fully well what might happen of they didn't leave and will see. They all went to the secure house we're all members we're able to stay for the night if it may need to be.

I could hear my mate, my Jayson, withering on the floor in pain.
Which got me walking towards him, bringing every cell in my body sparking and alive.

"Alpha, what... what's happening to me?" his voice held so much pain, it made me slower my approach and go down on my knee, we're I gently find his head and place it onto my lap.

Touching his most luscious curls I weave my fingers into it, before in the most softest tone I have ever used explained what was happening.

"Firstly, call me Carly, please. I.. it may freak you out. I don't know, but what I say to you is all true and just..." my voice withers off and I feel warmth on my hands, and realise that Jayson has placed a hand onto my hand which was not weaved into his hair but his chest. His touch and comfort reassured me and the rhythm of his breathing made me relax my very tensed muscles.

"It's okay Carly. How worse can it be? "

I chuckle, a low chuckle. If only he knew.

"I'm going to start from the beginning and I know your in pain but be patient I wouldn't want anything to happen."

"Wouldn't..."

I whisper a shhh like noise.

"Patience.."

I begin to tell him.

After a few minutes of explaining what was happening (him being in heat) and going over what a mate is and the concept of a mate. Jayson rephrased what we went over,

"So let me clarify, I'm your mate and in heat which is basically when my body naturally in a way is trying to get you to mate with me and get you pregnant?" Jayson breathing hitched and changed, you could just barely feel that he was shy about this topic.

"That's all true. Like I had said, usually it would be the female in heat but as I am an Alpha it is much different and it-"

"-means that you will have a much stronger urge to mate with me."

"Yes that's correct. I would've thought you would know more, since your mother must had went through the same pain."

"Well, I erm...I know one thing" he cleared his throat. "my mother had been in pain, I remember when she went through it, she said that, my now step-dad had said to her one way to relive pain is to be close to each other even both bodies close together would lower the pain. That's all he knew and told my mother."

"I should get hold of the pack doctor, they could help us and give us the best solution. "

Before, Jayson can even speak he starts heating up again.

"Carly, I...I need you"

If only I could see him. Wait, he still doesn't know I'm blind.

My hands had come of him when I was explaining about his problem. So, I quickly place my hands onto his and just the mere contact brought our mate bond full of life.

"Much better? " I coarsely whisper.

Which was replied by a hum of approval.

I clear my throat.

"Jayson, I...I've got something to tell you."

"What is it? " I hadn't even realised we were much closer than before.

His warm break hit me and I breath in his natural homely smell.

His voice sort of hit's home and made me want to poor all my emotions and worries out.

Taking in a long deep breath, I clear my throat once more and I slowly say,

"I'm sure you don't know, but I'm blind"

A lone tear of mine escaped and slowly dropped down and most likely onto Jayson who took in a sharp breath.

What felt like hours Jayson hadn't replied, I slowly got up a whispered Ill be back.

Before walking out to get the pack doctor.

Hey my amazing readers! How are you all?

I do hope you enjoyed this chapter and I know it wasn't much but it's just.....

Updates may be longer as you all know the reasons why and also another, well, excuse is also added a very Important and serious excuse.

Which is that my grandpa isn't feeling very well and is in serious condition and is in the hospital, meaning that I kind of have many things on my plate. Do pray for my grandpa that would seriously be the best support I could get, and I do apologise for ranting and all.
