Bria's Pov-

Today was the long awaited day. Today was the day everyone was dreading deeply. If you haven't guess it by now, today is Jack J's funeral.

These past few days everyone has been trying to forget about it, but now it's here. Now there's no running from it.

I sat in my bed for a few minutes. It still hasn't fully got through to me that he was gone.

Now I would have to face everyone and their questions. If everyone tried to get me to tell them what happened the day it happened, then I bet they'll try again today.

I closed my eyes and took and deep breath. I sat up slowly and I had a pounding head ache.

I looked in my mirror and I saw my bruises. Oh no, not only is today my friends funeral, but now I'm going to be bombarded with questions on this.

I'm tired though. Not the sleepy tired, but the type of tired that makes you want to just stop trying.

I was tired of trying to cover up my bruises. They always seem to find out anyways. I just wouldn't tell them the truth on how I got them.

I slowly got out of bed and examined my bruises a bit more. They didn't look  so bad, but they hurt badly.

I opened my door and walked to Nash's room to find him asleep. I walked towards Hayes room and I hear him talking to someone.

I'm too tired to eavesdrop. I walked downstairs  and found Jack G sleeping on the couch. "Great." I mumbled to myself.

I was planning on watching some cartoons to help cheer me up a bit. I walked towards Cam's room and he was sleeping too.

I decided to check the time because it's rare that I'm up before them. It was 7:32! That's probably the earliest I've ever been up this year.

I walked back to the kitchen proudly and grabbed a cup. I was going to drink water, but then I saw apple juice and I couldn't pass that offer up.

*Knock Knock*

"Who the hell would knock on the door this early?!" I said rolling my eyes as I walked towards the door.

I opened it and it was Declan. He's the last person I wanted to see right now. "Can we please talk?" He said and it looked like he had been crying.

"I'll be out in a minute." I said and slammed the door (quietly so I didn't wake anyone) in his face without waiting for a response.

I finished my apple juice and set the cup down on a little table by the door. I opened the door and sat down on the stoop next to Declan.

"I couldn't sleep." He said looking at me with sad eyes. "I just have a question." I said and he looked at me.

"Go for it." He said running his hand through his jet black hair. "Wouldn't your mom have had makeup?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Please trust me when I say this, I checked 10 times before you came. I even asked my mom and she said she only had concealer. I didn't think concealer would do anything." He said and for some strange reason I believed him.

"I feel absolutely horrible about what I did and I told Calum that he can expose me to the world, as long as you're safe." He said and I cracked a small smile.
