Bria's pov-
Jack left my room and I couldn't help but smile. After everything that's happened these last few years, I would have never expected this.
If you told me three years ago that I would wind up with Jack again, I would tell you you're on drugs.
It's just strange how God plays everything out but, it's a good strange.
Anyways, I decided I should keep my wheel chair downstairs so it would be easier.
So, me being stubborn I didn't ask for help getting it down the stairs and I tumbled down the stairs.
All the boys looked at me and I smiled. "What happened to you?" Nash said laughing.
"Does somebody need help?" He added and I stuck my tongue at him. He wasn't just asking if I needed help, he was saying I needed his help.
I set up my wheel chair at the bottom of the stairs then just sat there. I needed a break.
I wasn't going to ask anyone for help though because I need to prove to myself that I am capable of handling myself.
I was listening to the boys talk and I couldn't help but laugh. "What's an onomatopoeia?" Carter asked and everyone looked at him.
"Are you serious, you don't know what an onomatopoeia is?" Nash said laughing. "Obviously not." He said and I laughed.
"Oh shut up crippled." He said and I told him that if my legs worked he would be dead.
I decided it was time for me to go upstairs. It kept getting harder but no matter what, I was not asking anyone for help.
"You need some help there crippled." Carter said and I ignored him.
I made it to the top and yelled to Carter "See, I don't need your help stupid!"
"Well it took you about 5 hours to go up two steps." He yelled back and everyone laughed.
I scooted to my room and I was way too tired to try and get on my bed.
I grabbed a pillow and my blanket and lay on the floor. I was so tired that once my face hit the pillow I was out cold.
*next morning*
I woke up and I forgot why I was one the floor. I tried to move my legs and panicked because they wouldn't move.
I scooted to the hallway and saw my wheelchair. I went head first down the stairs because it was easier.
I got in my chair and rolled to the kitchen. Honestly I don't know what's wrong with my legs. Thankfully, I'm going to the doctors.
I went to the fridge and opening it was a challenge. I forgot to lock my wheels and when I did, it was too close to the fridge.
I finally got what I needed to make my breakfast. Now the next challenge.
Getting a bowl.
I could barely reach them standing and in heels. How on earth was I supposed to get one now?!
I sat in the chair defeated. But then I got an idea. I found a piece of yarn which was surprisingly easy.
I tied a loop big enough to fit around the knob of the cabinet. It took my about 100 times but I finally got it.
I opened the cabinet and now my next challenge was getting a bowl. Luckily for me the plastic ones were in front.
I got another piece of yarn and made it so it was long enough to go around the back of the bowls and back to my other hand.
It took my on 4 tries. I pulled the bowls forward and reached to catch them.
Me being me, I missed and they made a really loud bang. Anyways, I grabbed my favorite bowl out of the three and poured my CoCo pebbles.
I poured the milk in and attempted to put it back but it was harder than getting it.
So I just left it out. The house was cold enough anyways. I grabbed my cereal and a spoon and rolled to the living room.
I was getting better with the whole getting around thing. I turned on the tv and relaxed.
Nash came running down the stairs yelling into his phone. "What idiot left the milk out." I just ate my cereal not paying attention to him.
"You know what! I'm done with your bs! Bye!!" He yelled into the phone and I looked at him.
"What your problem?" I said and he rolled his eyes at me. "I have a massive head ache and I'm hungry but the milk is warm." He said angrily.
"How about you take a chill pill." I said and he glared at me. "How about you shut the fuck up." He said and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Who were you talking to?" I said and he ignored me as he typed away. I rolled my eyes and continued watching the show that was on.
"Are you seriously watching Dora?" He questioned and I ignored him.
"Hello! I'm talking to you." He said getting a little louder. "What does it look like!" I snapped.
"Snappy snappy." He said. I swear he's bipolar. "Who were you talking to?" I said.
"Someone." He said running back upstairs. "You're so annoying!" I yelled.
It was time to go to the doctors.
"So what's up with your legs?" Cam asked on the way home. "I'm temporarily paralyzed." I said.
"It's okay."he said. "At least it's just temporarily." I said.
We got home and he offered to help me out of the car but I told him I could do it.
He got my wheel chair out for me and I got in it and went through the back.
I went inside and Nash was yelling on the phone again. He's so annoying.
But I was still wondering who he was talking to!
