last night i had a dream
i dreamt that you held me
not just 'held me' in the simplest of terms
but enveloped so tightly in your embrace that my broken heart moulded back together
held me so tightly that i choked on your scent
held me so tightly that the world ceased to exist around us
and when i woke up at 3:47am
i could still feel ghost of your embrace
and the cracks in my heart sealing slowly
and your scent lingered on in my memory
and in that moment, although you were not by my side the world around me ceased again once more
