in this ever changing world you are the only constant,
no matter how many times the earth rotates around the sun or how many times the moon seduces the tides, your existence always takes precedent in my mind,
no longer will my attention be shattered like a dropped mirror but instead my eyes will fixate on you,
you are, and have always been it for me,
nothing,
no one,
and nowhere, could compare to you,
i'll admit to this:
the blue of your eyes is not as unique as i make it out to be, I've seen it before in the ocean
and my favourite song is the sound i yearn for most instead of your harmonious voice,
i have never seen an angel or god walk the earth before, but i can assure you that you are neither
your touch, however magnifying and pleasurable, will never compare to feeling of the wind hugging my skin as i freefall
the taste of your lips is incredibly sweet, yet the fruit of this season is much sweeter
and yes you've seen the most hidden parts of me, the most complex of puzzles, but you only saw it because i let you
so if you truly are this ordinary, which you are my love, then why can't you escape the hurricane of my thoughts?
you are, and always have been my stability
