it happened so suddenly
i didn't even mean for it to happen
you were a friend of friend's friend and nothing more
and then suddenly you were my friend, my very best one
and like a blank book i filled you with the words of my stories and secrets
and for months you were vital to my existence
and then it hapened so suddenly
we stopped talking so frequently and then, altogether
and every promise that you made to put me first disappeared
and this was proved when you put yourself first, and stole my heart with no intention of giving it back
it happened so suddenly
you my were my best friend
and now you're nothing but a stranger
