Dear Love,
I'm sorry it took so long for me to write. I guess I'm still trying to get over you. I also didn't want to write because my tears kept wetting the paper.
How've you been? Did you finally make it out of that small town and into the big city? Was it everything you wished for?
Whatever you're doing now I hope you're happy.
I wish I could have realised I hoped that sooner, then maybe I could have kept you.
I'm sorry I was always so negative, I know I really spoilt the mood. I'm sorry I didn't have enough faith in us, I guess that's just the way it goes. Most importantly, I'm sorry for living up to all the rumours people told you about me. If you had any sense I suppose you would have listened.
I don't expect you to write back because nobody wants to keep in touch with the thing that hurt them the most.
You'll always be the day to my night.
Sincerely Yours,
Heartbreak
