Chapter 9

*Liam's POV*

HE DID IT.

HE ASKED HER OUT.

SHE SAID YES.

CRAP.

*Michael's POV*

Stormy and Louis came back into the awkwardly silent living room a few minutes later, holding hands I might add.

"Attention everyone. I asked Stormy on a date and she said yes!" Louis announced happily while she held his hand and blushed.

I looked over at Liam who was sitting on the couch. He looked as if he were about to explode, but hey:

If he really wanted Storm like I knew he did, he would fight for her. I relaxed my tense shoulders when I felt Dani come up from behind me and wrap her arms around my waist.

"What do you say we do something about this little love triangle and then go have some lunch?" She whispered to me. I smiled at her and nodded my head. She left to go change while I cleared my throat, getting everyone's attention.

"Dani and I are going out, Louis would you like to join? I wanna catch up man!" I asked. Louis looked at Storm and quickly shook his head, smiling.

Sorry, Liam. I tried.

"Maybe some other time Mate, I really want to get to know Stormy if that's alright."

"Yeah, of course!" I fake smiled. "Liam?" I asked. Liam's fists unclenched slightly and he stood up so fast he almost fell.

"Let's go. " he said, and was out the door. Storm stared after him confused. She turned to me.

"What just happened?" I quickly looked for an excuse for Liam's idiot behavior.

"Uhh, he gets grumpy when he's hungry. Its a typical boy thing!" I said, then lightly pushed Dani towards the door. I was ready to be out of there.

"You guys have fun!" I yelled. Then I shut the door behind me.

*Stormy's POV*

AHHHHHH!

THE Louis Tomlinson asked ME out. Never in a million years would I have even imagined that happening.

So, to save you all from another sob scene, I'll sum it up.

I told Louis everything... EVERYTHING.

I told him about my real mom overdosing and dying in the hospital. About my real dad who became depressed and started drinking...

About the abuse.

I told him about the adoption and how Liam and I met. How we both set up Mikey and Dani without even realizing it.

EVERYTHING.

"Wow..." He said when I was done. "I can't even imagine..." He whispered, staring up at me from where he laid on my bed. I was sat next to him.

"Well it's all over. It's in the past so I'm okay now." I tell him. Louis grabbed both my hands and started to play with my fingers. I looked at his face to discover tears in his eyes.

"How could someone--"

"Shh, Lou. Please don't cry for me, okay? It's over. It's done with."

Louis sat up and swallowed me in a bear hug, then started rocking us back and forth.

I will not cry. I won't.

"I would never do anything to hurt you, I hope you know that." He whispered to me. I nodded and hugged him back the best I could with my arms trapped in between us.

"I know." I whispered back. Then I straightened up and got off the bed.

"What do you say we watch a movie?" I ask him. Louis looked slightly confused and then got up to follow me out of the room.

"Beauty & The Beast is THE best Disney movie of all time." I said for maybe the 6th time as the credits started to roll. Louis didn't seem to mind though, he just chuckled at my childish ways.

We were very cozy on the couch, his arm around my shoulders as I snuggled into his chest. We were acting like a couple already.

I enjoyed being like this with Louis, but part of me still wished it was Liam. Instead it was Lou, the boy who silently quoted every line but would never admit to it.

If Liam didn't like me, then there was no since in waiting around for him. I made a promise to Dani that I would move on. I had to do it, for her, for me... And for Zach. He wouldn't want me moping around either.

"Hello? Earth to Stormy! Come in Madam Higgins!" Louis exclaimed, dancing all goofy and waving his hands around trying to catch my attention. I started laughing hysterically. Louis watched me roll around with an amused expression on his face.

"Sorry, what did you say?" I asked, still laughing. He smiled down at me and extended his hand.

"I SAID, 'Dance with me.'" He beamed. I shook my head violently.

"Oh, no. I don't--"

"Storm." Louis leaned over to touch our foreheads together. I could feel his hot breath on my face. "Dance with me."

"But there's no music..." I tried. Louis pulled me up and into his arms, our bodies tightly pressed together.

"We don't need music." He said quietly. We both just swayed to the silence, enjoying the moment.

"Okay now I'm going to try something, do you trust me?" He asked. I licked my dry lips and nodded with a smile.

"Yes."

He smiled at me.

"Good to know."

He then took one of my hands and spun me around before bringing me back into his chest.

"Well aren't we fancy?" I joked. Louis didn't laugh, instead he just shyly smiled.

"Storm?" He asked again.

"Yes Louis?"

"I um," and before he could change his mind he held my face in his hands and places his lips on mine.
