***1 year later***
*Liam's POV*
I watched as Stormy at on the floor of my flat and played fetch with Loki. He had instantly loved her since she first walked into the room ten months ago. She would squeak the toy, and laugh when Loki barked at it.
I smiled as Storm threw the toy one last time before climbing into the couch next to me and laying her head on my shoulder.
"Well at least he likes me." She said, poking my side. I just laughed and squeezed her in a side hug.
"I like you." I told her, smiling. She smiled back and then turned her head to watch Loki play with his toy.
"Hey," I told her, taking her chin in my hand and turning her head to make her look at me. " I really, REALLY like you." I repeated. She smiled and hugged my neck, while my arms wrapped around her waist.
"I REALLY like you too, Liam." She said in my ear, amusement in her voice. We both pulled away from the hug, and I was so caught up in the moment that I tried to kiss her. Sadly, as I leaned in, we were interrupted, AGAIN.
"HEYO!!!!" Michael yelled as he and Dani walked through the front door. I groaned while Stormy just squealed and jumped up to hug her best friend.
"How are you?! It's been forever!" She asked Dani, while Dani just smiled at her and laughed.
"It's been 2 months, you Doof!" She said.
Oh yeah, I forgot. Michael and Dani had gone back to America to visit Dani's family. Apparently everyone loved him! Even her father, whom I was told was VERY hard to please.
"Hey Stormy, could I talk to you for a sec, alone?" Michael asked her. He gave him a confused look, but nodded. Michael quickly dragged he into the next room.
"Well that was weird." I stated, getting up off the couch to hug Dani. Man I missed that girl. We had gotten a lot closer since that day in the hospital.
Not close like cheating on Michael close but like best friend close... Yeah okay you get the idea.
"Yeah, he's been acting kind of strange lately..." Dani said, hugging me tightly. We both took seats on the couch and caught up for about 5 minutes before Stormy and Michael walked back into the room.
"Dani, wanna come help me bake a cake? For old times sake?" Stormy asked her. Dani jumped up excitedly.
"Of course! Lets go!" She said, and then followed Stormy into the kitchen after giving Michael a quick peck on the lips.
He smiled and watched her leave. But as soon as she was out of eye-range he quickly spun around to face me, panic on his features.
"Dude, you've gotta help me out here." He said shakily, before sitting in our old armchair and putting his head in his hands. I walked over to him and put a hand in his back.
"What's wrong Mike? C'mon bud talk to me." He looked up with red eyes, and trembling lips.
"I'm gonna ask her to marry me." I smiled and gave him a big pat on the back.
"That's awesome! But why are you upset about that...?" I asked hesitantly. He looked at the floor and shook his head.
"I'm... I'm terrified. What if she says no? What if her parents don't approve? What if--"
"Whoa whoa whoa! Mate, slow down." I interrupted him. "Do you love her?"
"More than anything in the world. She IS my world."
"Then why bother with the 'what if's'? Nothing else matters besides you, and her." I told him. He stood up and grabbed me in a tight hug.
"Thanks Liam. You're the best."
"Anytime." Michael pulled away and gave me a mischievous smile.
"Actually, speaking of 'the best'..." He trailed off. I shook his shoulders in frustration.
"Spit it out man!"
"Would you want to be my best man by any chance?" He asked. I smiled even wider( if that's possible) and hugged him again.
"Of course Michael! I would be honored."
He smiled at me and ran a nervous hand through his short blonde hair.
"Can I ask you one last favor?" He asked.
"Sure thing Mate, whatever you need!"
"Well, I need some tubes, some lights, and a field."
What did this kid have in mind?!

*Stormy's POV*
"So you're saying Timothy's NOT hot?" Dani asked me. I stopped stirring the cake mix I had and gave her my best 'are you friggin kidding me' look.
She has been telling me all about this new guy in her art class. Apparently he's "just like me" and we would "make the perfect couple".
Ummmmm, no.
"Dani!!" I yelled at her.
"What?"
"Timothy Green?!"
"Yeah."
"Dude he's like 17!"
"So? That's only 3 years difference!" Dani argued.
"Oh my gosh, you're such a cougar!" i laughed. "If you think he's so 'hot' why don't you date him?"
Dani looked at me with complete shock and horror, which only made me laugh harder.
"And leave Michael?! Are you crazy in the head?! I would never do that!" She said. I turned and continued on with mixing the cake batter, trying to hide my huge smile.
She had no idea what the cake was for..
She had no idea that later tonight, when she saw it again, it would have 'Congrats future Mr. & Mrs. Clifford' written across it.
