Chapter 13

*Stormy's POV*

I fluttered my eyes open, slowly but surely. I blinked a few time before everything came into focus.

I was laying in a plain white bed in the middle of a bright white hospital room. I looked down at my unresponsive body that was hooked up to at least 3 complicated machines.

I was disappointed to see that I was the only one in the room. How did I get here? Last thing I remembered was Liam busting the door down and carrying me out to the car.

Where was he? Where was Dani? Michael? Did anyone care about me?!

That's when I heard the shouts from the hallway. I sat up and swung my legs over the side of the bed.

"Ouch..." I whined, rubbing my temples. Stupid headaches.

I made my way over to the door and opened it to find Liam and Michael in what appeared to be a very heated argument.

"Mate, I can't just sit here and watch you go from girl to girl!" Michael screamed. Where was Dani?! Her boyfriend needed a chill pill.

"I'm not going from girl to girl! I'm trying to figure out my life for myself!" Liam argued back. Michael grabbed Liam by the collar of his shirt and got in his face. I jumped out the door and was by Michael's side into two seconds.

"Michael please don't hit him! Think about what you're doing!" I exclaimed.

Neither of the boys acknowledged me, I so tried putting my hand on Michael's shoulder, only to watch it go completely through him like he wasn't even there!

Or I wasn't even there....

I turn and run back into my room. Turning my gaze to the bed, sure enough, I'm greeted by my sleeping figure.

What the actual heck?! So, I'm a ghost right now?! Sweet!

Thats when I heard a loud cry come from the hallway. I come back out into the hallway to see a sobbing Liam in Michael's arms.

Somehow they had both ended up hugging on the floor. I quickly sat down next to them. Liam hopelessly cried while Michael struggled to keep his own tears from falling.

"M-M-Mike?" Liam stuttered. Michael took a deep breath.

"Yeah Liam?" He asked.

"What am I supposed to do?" Liam asked, sounding helpless."I-I like Chloe a lot, I really do. But.."

"But you love Stormy?" Michael finished. I bit my lip, prepared for those stupid words again, 'pretty cool'. Ugh.

"Yeah, yeah I love Stormy." Liam whispered. I gasped, thankful that my ghostly self couldn't be heard. I smiled to myself.

"Just follow your heart Mate, that's all I can-"

"Michael!" I heard Dani shout. Dani! Oh hallelujah! I smiled when I saw my best friend. She looked at Michael and Liam with a questionable look before her eyes scanned over me.

When our eyes met, her jaw fell to the floor and she dropped the coffees age had been carrying.

"St-Storm?" She asked, bewildered. My eyes widened, hope rising in my chest.

"You can see me?" I asked. Dani swallowed and nodded, smiling like an idiot.

"I can hear you too." She said. I gave out a small cry of joy before running to her and both of us stopping just short of each other.

Liam cleared his throat and Michael had a worried look on his face.

"Babe," Michael started." Who are you talking to? Are you okay?"

I smiled at Dani as she nodded,

"Just peachy." She said, tears filling her eyes. I stuck up my hand, ignoring the boys' confused looks.

"Can you feel me?" I asked her. She stuck up her hand to meet mine, our hands sadly passing through the other's. we both frowned, putting our hands down before Michael passed through me and gripped Dani's shoulders.

"Dani, talk to me! Whats going on?" He asked. Dani smiled at me, the tears finally spilling over.

"It's her.." She whispered. "She's here.."

"Who?" The boys asked simultaneously. I walked to Liam's side and smiled at him, just itching to wrap my arms around him and hug him.

He saved my life, after all.

"Stormy, you dumb-dumbs!" Dani exclaimed. Michael looked unconvinced, but Liam's head snapped up to attention.

"Are you sure?" He asked. Dani shook her head, still smiling. Liam's shoulders relaxed and he smiled too.

"Prove it, prove she's here." Michael said. Dani turned to me.

"How should we do this?" She asked me. I thought for a moment, before a mental lightbulb went on.

(** I MADE THIS UP**)

"One time, when Liam was thirteen, his friends dared him to go skinny dipping in his neighbor's yard. So, Liam being Liam, he did it. His parents nor his neighbors ever found out about it, UNTIL they found his underwear hanging on the fence."

Dani repeated the story to the boys, and while Michael just bursted out laughing, Liam stood statue still.

"I've only ever told one person that story! It was Sto..."

"Storm?" Dani asked, laughing. I guess he found the story amusing too.

"Where is she?" He asked cautiously. Dani straightened up and stood next to me, looking me in the eyes. Liam carefully faced me, pretty accurately too. He looked nervous, as if he was about to say something risky. He finally slumped his shoulders and looked at me with a pouty face.

"Did you really have to tell them THAT story?!"

The other three of us just bursted into laughter all over again.

A/N: Well there's chapter 13! I hope all of you understood what was going on!

Stormy's still alive but her ghost is roaming around outside of her body! Dani is the only one who can see or hear her... For now;)
