Jacob's POV
"How would you feel if I kissed you right now?" The words came out before I could stop them. "Finally" she breathed out. I bit my lip and leaned in, she did the same. The softness of her lips overwhelmed me. It was short, but it was the best thing ever.
She wrapped her arms around me and I cuddled into her the same. "Hey Jacob?" She asked "Brin??" I asked "don't ask next time" I didn't look but I know she was smiling. "Yeah no school tomorrow" I smiled and fell asleep.
"Jacob it's like 10am" she groaned "so?" I asked "we need to get up, open your eyes!" She whined "make me!" I smirked and shifted to face opposite of her. She turned me around and smashed her lips against mine. She started to move her lips she stopped and turned around and fell asleep. Really? Like dead serious?
"Nope!" I said and picked her up and smiled. "So what do you wanna do?" She asked. "Just lay around & be lazy" I shrugged "No wait! Go get dressed I wanna show you something!" I smiled. She ran to her house to get dressed, I knew exactly what I was doing. I was going to show her a secret spot only I know about, & I was going to ask her to be mine. But more romantic. Duh. The necklaces I found were, together, $50. But it was worth it. (I don't know if that's the price) . She ran back in and I smiled at her. "Let's go!" I grabbed her hand and my penny board and an extra one. "You know how to ride right?" "Yeah!" She smiled and grabbed the board. I didn't want to let go of her hand...... So I didn't.
We soon got to the place, "okay so put your board here & come with me" I smiled "okay" she said back. I led her through the trees into the middle of the forest. There's a pond hidden behind the trees. It's a beautiful pond it's pretty dark with only slight sunshine shining through the trees.
"Wow" she said breathless, "it's gorgeous here" she gazed at her surroundings. "Yeah it's really cool up here, you're the only person I've showed it too" chill Jacob. Chill. "Really?? Wow." She was amazed, it was gorgeous though, but not as gorgeous as her gaze. "So do you have to take exams next week?" I asked "nah, you??" She asked back. "No, somehow I passed math." I laughed and she did too.
She held my hand as we just talked like normal people, even though we were both far from normal people. "There's something I need to ask you" I said as I made sure I had the necklace "what's that?" She asked. I pulled the case out that had hers, mine was hidden around my neck, replaced by the one I usually wear. I tucked it in my shirt so she couldn't see. "Will you make me the happiest 15 year old in the world, & be mine?"
"Of course!" I smiled hugely as the words left her lips. She kissed my lips softly and I put the necklace on her. "Where's the other half?" I revealed my half of the necklace. "You're cute" she tapped my nose. "I know."
