I felt warmth beside me. The smell was a mixture of old wood and different spices. I was surprised, I didn't think I would every smell that again. I opened my eyes, looking around the Fairy Tail infirmary. It was dark, the only light coming from a candle in the corner. I turned to me right and smiled at the sight. Natsu was asleep in a chair, and by the looks of it he had been there for a while. While I was staring at Natsu, I heard the door open behind me.

"He hasn't moved in eight days." Lisanna said, taking in the view. Not going to lie, that scared me. Did he figure out who I was? I pulled a strand of hair into view and sighed when it was black instead of green.

"Eight days huh?" I asked turning towards Lisanna.

"Yeah. With Crocus in shambles we had to divide all the injured between guilds, so you ended up here. Most people have left by now though. What we're all wondering though is how you destroyed Eclipse and how you survived." Lisanna informed me. Well, there was no way I could tell her the truth, so yet again I would have to lie to one of my closest friends.

"Sometimes you get lucky and miracles happen. I knew what I had to do so I did it. How did I survive? Luck." I answered simple.

"You remind me of someone I knew a long time ago." Lisanna said.

"I get that a lot." I replied, not completely lying.

"Really? Weird. Anyway, you remind me of a girl named-"

"Lisanna." Natsu interrupted. We both turned and looked at him, forgetting he was in the room. "She just woke up after over a week. Go get Mira and Wendy then she needs to rest."

"Right. Sorry." Lisanna said as she went out the door. I turned and looked at Natsu, still surprised by his sudden outburst.

"I'm fine ya know." I told him.

"Do be offended when I say I don't believe you. You just woke up after being in a week long coma. You were pretty much dead when I found you." He muttered.

"Thanks." I said

"Huh?" He asked, looking at me funny.

"Well, you said I was practically dead when you found me, so I think it's safe to assume if you hadn't found me when you did I would be dead. So thank you for saving my life." I explained sincerely. Before we could say anything else, Mira and Wendy walked it. They gave me a quick evaluation while Natsu sat in his chair looking uninterested. However, he appeared interested again when Mira and Wendy came to their conclusion.

"WHAT!" Natsu yelled, causing Wendy to flinch.

"She's perfectly fine, there is no reason for us to keep her here." Mira repeated. I grinned as I stood up out of bed.

"Thank you all for looking out for me, I really appreciate it." I told them, leaving the infirmary and entering the guild hall. As I made my way towards the door, I saw Lucy, Gray, and Erza looking over at me. What caught me off guard was that Gray was squinting, looking at something around my neck. With one swift movement I tucked the necklace into my shirt and exited the guild.

GRAY's POV (WHAT?!?!?)

"What are you doing?" Lucy asked me from the other side of the table. Sighing in defeat, I sat back down.

"I thought I saw something. Anyway, something feels oddly familiar about that Brooke girl from Sabertooth." I told Erza and Lucy, and they both nodded in agreement.

"She reminds me of her." Lisanna said as she sat down next to Lucy. I flinched at the thought, she was a bit of a sore subject for me.

"Rayn?" Lucy asked, causing me to flinch yet again.

"Yeah, I mean, our conversation earlier just seemed too natural. I guess I just miss her so much I ... I." Lisanna couldn't finish.

"Is it possible Brooke is Ray?" Lucy asked, causing all of us to look at her in disbelief. When she saw how we looked at her, she elaborated. " Okay fine. A long time ago, just after I had run away from home, Ray had accepted a job from my father to locate and return me. When she found me she was kind enough to hear me out and let me go; she even went so far as to lie to my father. What's odd is that Brooke saved me during our battle with the giant lizards, and she knew my name. When I asked her how, she said it was because she had taken a job request from my father after I had run away. The only person that had actually met up with me was Ray. I don't know if she let it slip on purpose or if she had though I forgot, but I just have a feeling those two girls are the same person." I sat there in awe. If what Lucy just said was true, then maybe I had seen what I had thought.

"You're right." I said, looking up at my friends. They all gave me startled looks, probably surprised that I was the one who had agreed with this outrageous theory. "When Ray was still here, I gave her a necklace, and I'm pretty sure I just saw Brooke wearing it. Now that I think about it, the reason I gave it to her was because she said she wouldn't always be around to save me." I realized."

Did she know she would have to leave?" I asked to no one in particular
