It was night now, and so far Rogue nor Sting have come after me. Of course, I did alter my scent and the wind patterns, but when those two set their minds to something they get it done. I was sitting on the same bench as the night before, though something about tonight seemed strange. For mid-August, in was very cold out tonight, it seemed as though a storm was approaching.

Since I was sure that I was alone,  finally pulled the book out from my bag. I looked down at the cover. E.N.D. When I found it, it was obvious that someone put it there to keep others from finding it, so why? I opened the front cover of the book, a flash of white light appeared, then total darkness.

Once the darkness faded, I noticed I was in a completely different place. It was dark, there was just enough light for me to see about three feet in front of me. I seemed to be underground, deep underground.

"I've been waiting for you to find that book." A deep voice said behind me. Light exploded throughout the cave as I turned around, coming face to face with a large black dragon. Normally, if someone were to come face to face with a creature said to be dead for over 400 years, they would freak out, however seeing this dragon gave me a sense of calm.

"Right when Igneel took you away from me, I knew that he would take away your memory. I had the leader of Tartarous place this book in a place where you would find it but others would not. Now that you have it, I know you are going down the right path." The dragon said.

"I have no idea what you are talking about." I replied." I lost my memories way before I met Igneel, not to mention I have no idea who you are."

"That's why I brought you here, I wanted you to regain your memories. I wanted to be the one to tell you everything; it can't be certain just how honest Igneel will be." I nodded, telling him to go on. "Have you ever wondered why you have such great senses? Your hearing, sight, smell, everything? Have you ever wondered why you were cursed with the power of death? I think that deep down you knew the answers to those questions, you just didn't want it to be true. Yes Rayn, you are a dragon slayer, and yes, I, Acnologia, King of All Dragons, raised you."

"You're right, deep down, I knew all of that, and before now I never wanted to believe it. However, I can use this now. Say Acnologia, if you are King of the Dragons, are the dragons required to obey me as well?" I asked.

"I like where you're going with this. Yes, they are required to obey I as well as you." Acnologia smiled.

"Assuming we are in the dragon realm, can you take me to the lake? I need to have a word with some dragons." I replied.

"Hop on." Acnologia said. With that, we were off, together again.

A little short, I know. The next chapters are longer, I promise! I do all of my writing between 10pm and 2am, so I apologize if there are spelling errors. Thank all of you for reading my story and please feel free to leave feedback, it really helps! See you next week!
