"Lou, my love! Dinner smells absolutely delicious!" Harry smiled, walking into the kitchen. "Dinner? Babe I'm not cooking, I just lit a candle" Louis chuckled, looking at him.
Harry walked over to him, wrapping his arms around his waist. "Well then... The candle smells delicious, good choice" he hummed, burring his face in Louis' feathery hair.
"You smell delicious too" he murmured, breathing him in before kissing his temple. "Come to the living room... Let's do something" Louis said out of the blue, taking Harry's hand and leading him to the next room.
"Baby? What're we doing?" Harry asked confused, watching as Louis walked over to their stereo and turned it on a slow song. "We never just dance" Lou explained, walking back over and starting to slow dance with him.
"I'm missing half of me.. When we're apart.. Now you know me.. For your eyes only" Harry sang softly, holding Louis close. Louis hummed along, laying his head against Harry's chest.
"I love you so much" Lou whispered, smiling wide. "I love you so much more" Harry said, squeezing him gently. A million thoughts ran through his mind all revolving around one: will the love of his life agree to marry him?
He took a deep breath, slowly pulling away from Louis. "Babe? What's the matter?" Lou asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
Harry's hands began to shake as he got down on one knee. He knew that proposing in their living room wasn't that romantic but he couldn't think of a better time than the present.
"Oh Lou.... I don't even know what to say right now... I love you so much and you've been so amazing to me.. Made me change for the better... And I couldn't thank you enough.. I would love to make you Louis William Styles if you'd let me... My love... Will you marry me?" He asked, tripping over his words a couple times. He pulled a ring box out of his pocket and opened it, watching as Louis' eyes widened even more.
"Haz.... Yes! Yes baby yes!" He giggled, jumping in Harry's arms. They tumbled back, landing on the floor as Louis kissed him deeply. Harry pulled away long enough to slip the ring on Louis' finger before kissing him again. Neither of them could stop smiling. It was the happiest moment in their life to date, but soon there'd be more. And they both couldn't wait.
