Surprisingly, I didn't feel much pain. There was a dull throb in my jaw, but it wasn't bothersome so I didn't mind. I was still pretty pissed off, though.

I didn't understand. I had known Morgan for a very long time, ever since sixth grade. We had been really good friends. And when I got irritated with the world, I had someone to talk to. And the other way around. Then to have him betray me like that! Unacceptable.

First, I was defending him. Just the thought of that overly muscular mutant child made my head spin. I was afraid of him. I thought I would never mess with that guy. But to have him picking on my best friend... that was another story. Then when he taunted me about my mother... who was missing...

I thought I could trust Morgan. But... I guess I was wrong. Not like it was the first time.. And now, here I was marching myself down to the principal's office. Also, not a first.

When I was about halfway there, I could hear sneakers quietly tapping against the tile floor. It grew louder and louder until-

"Blaize!"

I hollered in alarm, then looked down to see Sky. "Oh. It's just you." I murmured, more to myself, then continued walking.

"Hey! Wait up!" she called after me, and ran to catch up. "I have a bone to pick with you!"

I began to walk faster. I didn't need to deal with this right now!

"Stop!"

I sighed, and stopped walking. Turning around, I said, "What?"

She stopped too, about five feet away from me. "What was that all about? In the cafeteria?" she looked so confused. Too bad I couldn't help her with that.

I stayed quiet.

She understood, and came a little closer. "Okay, let's go get this over with."

"Sky! I don't need your help!" She took a step back, the hurt written over her face. "Sky- I didn't mean it- Come here." I gave her a hug. She stared in to my eyes for a long time and then looked at my lips. "Were going to have to make it look like he did more damage to you then you to him." I grabbed my lip.

"Oh, my beautiful face." I said mockingly.

She stared at me.

"Fine."

It's sad, but throwing my face into a locker wasn't so unusual. When I was done, Sky showed me a little mirror from her pocket. I had busted my lip, and my jaw hurt like crazy. Sky was crying a little. Every time she watched me do that she cried. "I told you not to watch." I gave her another hug as Joey walked around the corner to her. He took her from me. I handed him Xena's schedule and walked away towards the office.
