We were pushed back into the room after the group interrogation. As soon as the door closed, we erupted into noise, yelling about what we had just heard.

"They're not even here?" Xena said, anger tinting her voice with a slight snarl.

"How did this happen?" Morgan asked.

"No way. There is no way that wasn't Celie. I know Abyss can shape shift, but he can't be that good." Blaize said.

Xena sat down in a far corner and buried her face in her arms while Morgan and Blaize went back and forth. After a couple moments, she lifted her head, staring at something. I followed her gaze to Blaizes hand, which was held outstretched, a fire ball growing rapidly in his palm.

"Blaize!" I screamed.

He stopped yelling at no-one and looked up at me. The room grew silent. The flames swirled and danced in the air, thriving on the oxygen.

"Stop using your powers." I said quietly, my voice shaking.

Blaize stared at me, cocking his head. "I'm not using any- wait..." He looked down, then gaped at his hand.

"I'm not doing that!" his voice raised into what could've been fear.

"Well stop it!" Morgan said.

"I can't! I'm not doing it! It's not me!" Blaize said, louder. Definately fear. He turned to Xena, the fireball expanding faster. "Zee, help me! You're water! Do something, please!"

Xena stared at the fireball, quaking with fear. Blaize took a step towards her and she pulled back, further into the corner. He stopped and took a step back. "Please. I'm scared." Finally she gathered herself up and stood, closing the distance between herself and Blaize. Morgan and I watched completely awestruck and she hesitantly reached her hand up and gingerly placed her hand on his shoulder, as if she were afraid she woud break him, or he would break her. His bright orange eyes gradually glazed over with his natural chocolate brown. I turned away, not able to watch, but Blaize's gasp caught my attention moments later.

Xena had sat back down in the corner with a worried look.

"Sky?" Blaize mumbled. "Is this what cold feels like?" The fire in his hand had stopped burning.

I walked over to him and touched the back of my hand to his forehead. He felt cold. Not dangerously so, but still cold.

I let out a relieved sigh and laughed. Xena did exactly what she needed to. She cooled him down. He was okay. He wasn't going to blow us up.

"Yes, I guess it is."

"Why are you always complaining about it? I like it. It's cozy."

"Cold. Cozy." Morgan said with sarcasm.

"Yeah, I think it is," Xena said, "But, then, I've never felt warmth."

Blaize looked at her, slackjawed, before holding out his hand to her. Xena looked at it, then up at him. He gave her an encouraging smile, and finally, she took his hand and stood up. Slowly, Blaize let go, raising his hand to her porcelain face stoody up shakily and started walking towards Xena. She drew back at first, but eventually let him cup her small face in his hands. She gasped as a light began to glow under her skin, but it wasn't a gasp of fright like I had expected. It was one of amazement. She slowly reached her tiny hands up to his. His eyes glazed over with the same clear blue as before, but this time, he didn't fall. They stood there for a long moment before Blaize pulled away. He did so with such feirceness that she stumbled back. Her fiery eyes glazed over with blue until they were almost clear.
