Tom and Max who were once called the best couple and could never imagine life without each other had now been away from each other for a whole week. Tom had flown back to his house with his parents along with the kids while Max had gone back to their house. For a whole week, the couple hadn't met each other and the kids hadn't seen their Papa. But Tom wasn't ready to forgive Max still and especially when he had people who were brainwashing him.
As Tom moved in with his parents, he found an immense support in his family. His parents had been taking care of the kids while he tried to just clear his mind. It hurt him to see his kids miss their other father. It was not easy to watch Nathan cry for his Papa when it was time for his evening bath because morning baths was Daddy's job and evening one's was Papa's. It hurt when Siva turned quiet again because he was missing his Papa and usually when Siva goes back to not talking, Max was the one to get the boy back to talking. But it hurt even more when Jay admitted that it was fun staying with their grandparents but they can't replace his Papa.
Even Tom missed Max but he wasn't going to admit it. He had slammed the door in Max's face when the man came to meet him and to explain the situation out. He had hanged up the phone on Max several times. Tom really wasn't giving Max any chance to explain. But after seeing his kids miss their Papa, Tom agreed to give Max one chance. He called the man to a café and agreed to let him explain what he had to say. Just when he was about to leave, his aunt stopped him. "Where are you going, Tom?" his aunt asked. "I'm meeting up with Max" Tom said. "What? He cheated on you and you're still forgiving him" the aunt asked. "No, I'm just giving him a chance to explain. A chance for and because of my kids" Tom said before leaving.
"Tom, I missed you. Where are the kids?" Max said as he moved further to hug Tom but the man stopped him. "It's because of the kids that I'm giving you a chance. So, just say what you have got to say and then I've got to return back to my kids." Tom said. Max winced when Tom said 'my' kids instead of their usual 'our' but he knew better than starting a war on that. "Tom, you've got to understand me. I was so drunk that" Max said but was cut off when Tom said, "So you slept with her." "No, I'm hundred percent sure that nothing happened that night. I was so drunk that I passed out. Do you think I really could have done something with her?" Max asked. Tom looked up at Max sighing as he let Max hold his hand. He was about to say something when Bianca showed up.
"Hi sweetheart" Bianca smiled as she leaned down to give Max a kiss on the cheeks. "What's she doing here?" Tom asked. "I swear I have no idea how she reached here" Max tried to explain but Tom was already getting up to go. "Tom, please I love you. I want you back. I want my kids back. I can't leave without you guys" Max pleaded. Tom shook his head as he walked out not even sparing a glance back at Max. Disappointed, Max turned to Bianca, glaring at her. "If Tom loved you then he would have trusted you. Let him go Max. I still love you. We can be together again." Bianca said. Max couldn't help but think about what Bianca had just said.
When Tom reached home, Siva was quick to reattach himself to his Daddy. He missed his Papa and he knew that even without saying it, his Daddy had understood it. Tom sighed as he looked at his kids. "Siva, baby, don't run like that" a woman called out as Tom, surprised looked over. "What are you doing here?" Tom chuckled as he realized that the woman was indeed his childhood friend, Ivy. "I came to me your aunt. She is my uncle's ex wife as you know." Ivy chuckled. "I haven't seen you for so long" Tom said as he hugged Ivy. Tom introduced Ivy to his kids even though Ivy insisted that his aunt had already done the introductions.
By evening, Tom could feel his smile return back. Ivy was one of his best friends and also she was being a great help with the kids too. Tom could see how Nathan, Siva and Jay had taken a liking to her. "You know I always wanted you to marry Ivy. But you thought Max was a better choice. If only you saw how Ivy is much better" Tom's aunt said. Tom sighed looking over at his kids giggling with Ivy. Nathan was cuddled in Ivy's lap as Siva snuggled in Ivy's side as Ivy continued on tickling Jay making all the kids laugh.
Maybe he had a made wrong choice with Max. Maybe Ivy would have been better.
