Prompt - -  could you do it where Nathan's real parents kidnap him?

As much as Tom loved his job, he was quite hesitant to leave his kids for a business meeting. His worries doubled over when Max’s modeling assignment also fell on the same day. The kids were on holiday from school and leaving them alone at home wasn’t such a good idea. Babysitters’ option had been ruled out ever since that incident with Peter. Max and Tom still haven’t gotten over the guilt of that day. Luckily, Louis and Liam, the fathers of their kids’ friends, suggested that they could watch over the kids. That eased Tom and Max’s worries quite a lot.

This morning, they were quite in a rush. Max had woken up Siva and Jay early. Early shower, early breakfast! Tom had also had Nathan bathed, dressed and fed. Half an hour later, they were at the Tomlinson’s household. It was Liam who opened the door. “Sorry, I know it’s still 8:30 but…” Tom trailed off. “It’s alright!” Liam said holding his arms out for Nathan who surprisingly was full of energy this morning and wriggled his way out of Tom’s hold to Liam’s arms. “Hello buddy! Nice to meet you too” Liam chuckled at the giggling Nathan.

“We’re in a bit of a hurry if you don’t mind!” Max said. “No problem! The kids will be fine!” Liam assured them. “Daddy leave?” Nathan asked tears pooling in his eyes. “Daddy will be back soon baby!” Tom assured Nathan with a kiss to his forehead. “Alright kids! Behave! And have fun!” Max said kissing Jay’s forehead and hugging Siva tightly. “Liam, Siva might be a little upset after we’re gone. He doesn’t do well with separation issues!” Tom told Liam. “It’s alright we’ll get him to nap a little!” Liam smiled. “That would be great mate!” Max said. They waved bye to their kids and drove off.

Nobody noticed the man hiding behind the bushes looking at the kids with a wicked smile on his face.

“Come on kids in we get!” Liam said. “Jay” Harry shouted happily as he saw his best friend getting down from Louis’s arms. “You two can play but keep it low Niall and Zayn are still sleeping!” Louis said smiling at the two boys. Nathan also was fighting sleep which Liam saw. “I’ll put him in with Niall!” Liam said walking to Niall’s nursery and laying Nathan next to Niall. When he came down Louis was in Siva’s arms sobbing his little heart out. “What’s wrong?” Liam asked rubbing Siva’s back. “Missing Daddy and Papa” Louis said slightly rocking the boy in his arms. “Aww… Bless! He’s just like our Zaynie!” Liam smiled. Siva eventually fell asleep. “I’ll put him next to Zayn!”

When the kids woke up, they were in a better mood! And by lunch time they were a bundle of energy running all around the house even Niall and Nathan had taken up to crawling around the couch. The kids kept the house lively. Lunch fed and the kids were down for another nap after playing around for some more time. And here sitting on the couch, Liam and Louis took the time to enjoy the silence and feed their youngest. Liam sat with Niall on his lap feeding him his bottle as Louis fed Nathan. After putting both of the babies to sleep, Louis whispered to Liam, “Nathan is so cute!” “I agree!” Liam whispered back.

When Tom and Max made their way to the Tomlinson, they were greeted by a cheerful Jay and an equally happy Harry next to him. “How’s my son?” Tom asked scooping Jay in his arms as Max ruffled Harry’s curls. They were met inside by Siva who looked at first shocked then happy to see his Daddies. Max scooped him up but firstly he bend down kissing Zayn on his forehead as the boy gave a small giggle. Twirling Siva in his arms, Max saw Tom scoop Nathan up and greet Niall also. “Hey Louis! Thanks for taking care of the little ones!” Max greeted Louis. “It was a real pleasure!” Louis said.

Tom made sure to compliment Liam and Louis for the wonderful dinner. The kids were playing by the side and Max had just put down Nathan for a nap along with Niall. They were talking with each other when they heard a scream from Zayn which led all four adults running upstairs. “What happened, Zaynie Boo?” Louis asked kneeling down next to Zayn. “Someone took Ni-Ni and Nath!” Zayn said through his sobs. “Oh God!” Max said looking at the empty crib. “The babies?” Tom asked and his knees nearly gave way when Max shook his head.

“This can’t be! Who took them?” Liam was pacing the floor. Tom could literally feel his whole world collapsing. He looked over at Zayn who was still sobbing as he watched his Papa pace the floor and his Daddy too involved in his own thinking to notice him. “Hey Zayn? What happened baby? You hurt?” Tom didn’t miss how Zayn was rubbing at his little tummy. “He pushed me before grabbing Nath and Ni-Ni” Zayn said as Tom crouched in front of him. Tom lifted Zayn’s shirt gasping at the bruise on his little stomach. “Oh Zayn!” Louis said hugging his son. “I’m sorry Daddy didn’t pay attention to you! We’ll fix your tummy!” Louis promised scooping up his son before sending a thankful nod to Tom and moving to get some ointment on Zayn’s tummy.

Max, Tom and Liam were getting more and more restless with now news of their babies. Louis had put Zayn, Siva, Jay and Harry to sleep and the kids did not protest somehow knowing their daddies weren’t in a good state today. Max was getting frustrated when suddenly the phone rang. Liam picked up putting it on loudspeaker,

So, you’ve finally figured out we got your babies! We came for one but got two instead!” The man said. “Give me back my babies!” Max growled. “How about you give me some of your money?” The man said. “I’ll give you whatever you want! Give me my children!” Tom begged. “Wait for my next call!” The man said disconnecting the call.

“Boss, the babies are crying.” A red haired man told a short man who had just been talking to Max. “I told you bring me back only my son! You brought two back, Idiot Wade!” The man said. “But James, the kids were identical, I didn’t recognize yours!” Wade answered. “Mine is the one that Max and Tom had. The other one is those Tomlinson’s kid. But you’re lucky that both are ready to give us huge money for these precious ones!” James laughed. “One’s luck became both’s destiny!” Wade chuckled.

“Where could the babies be?” Tom asked. “Who could kidnap them?” Louis asked. Lots of questions no answers, two babies at risk!
