Max really thought that his holiday would be memorable for him. So far, it was all going good. He was having a good time with his husband and his two kids. He had been able to spend some time alone with his husband without having to worry about leaving the kids with anyone unknown as Tom's parents looked over the kids. The bonus part of this was that the kids had been able to bond with their grandparents. Everything was going good until that familiar face came in front of Max and Max was sure everything positive thing about this holiday had just turned wrong.
"Nath, go to Daddy, baby. Papa will be there in a few minutes." Max said as he let Nathan down. Nathan toddled off to his Daddy as Max turned to the woman in front of him. "Hey" the lady greeted him again. "Bianca, what are you doing here?" Max asked. "Well, that was nice hello." Bianca chuckled before saying, "the bride is a distant family of mine." "Oh" Max sighed. "So, you're a Papa now? Married to a French woman or what?" Bianca asked as she stepped forward to stand next to Max. "I married a man, Bianca. And I have three kids now." Max said, then moving a bit away so that to create distance between him and the woman before emphasizing, "I'm happily married. I'm happy with him." Bianca smiled as Max walked away before quietly mumbling to herself. "You were happy with me too."
Throughout the wedding, Max and Tom had stick to each other as they remembered their own wedding but Max couldn't help be worried about Bianca. Bianca was Max's ex girlfriend. They had been dating for quite a well breaking up. Max had realized that he was gay and he also doubted that Bianca actually loved him or was just dating him for his name, fame and money. After breaking up with Bianca, Max had moved on and the first man he dated was Tom and not long after they got married. Max knew Bianca as being a very cunning woman and now that she is back, it could be good news.
Max and Tom sat next to each other watching the wedding when Max felt Tom tearing up when they watched the groom and bride take their vows. "Aww Tom" Max smiled as he squeezed Tom's shoulder. "I'm getting emotional" Tom chuckled as he felt Nathan look up at him. "Daddy crying?" Nathan asked. "Daddy is a big softie Nath" Max chuckled as he scooped Nathan up. Jay and Siva had edged closer towards Tom in their seats and Max had to smile at his perfect little family when suddenly he felt someone sitting next to him. Looking next to him, Max found it to be Bianca. Max sighed as he looked at her.
Throughout the ceremony, Bianca kept shooting looks to Max. And sometimes she would even approach Max. Max was finally getting enough of that woman. Seeing Tom busy with the kids, Max dragged Bianca to a corner. "Why the hell are you after me?" Max asked Bianca. "Just trying to see what's there in that man that wasn't in me" Bianca smirked. "Look Bianca, I'm gay. I love Tom. I'm happily married. I have three sons and I want nothing more than that." Max said. "But Max..." Bianca trailed off as he approached Max but was cut short when Tom approached them with the kids. "Max?" Tom asked.
Max sighed as he looked from Bianca to Tom before taking Tom's hand and leading him away. "I have something to tell you." Max said. He took Tom and their kids to his room. He told Jay to watch his younger siblings as he led Tom further inside. "What's wrong? And who was that woman? You didn't even let me meet her. And it was rude to just walk away from her like that." Tom said. "Trust me, it wasn't rude at all. That woman is Bianca, my ex girlfriend. We dated about a year and then broke off." Max admitted.
Tom stood there in shock for a while before asking, "You never told me that you dated someone else before." "Oh, come on, Tom, you also must have dated someone before me." Max said. "Yeah, but I dated a guy. I never knew you were bisexual." Tom said, feeling hurt that Max kept this fact from him. "I'm not bisexual, babe. When I dated Bianca, we were both doing a modeling assignment together and we felt attracted towards each other. But I never knew that I was gay. After some time, our relationship got a bit complicated. I felt she was really not sincere to me and also I had realized that I was gay and so, things turned out a bit bad and we broke up. But ever since, I moved on and then I met you and I fell in love with you" Max said, taking Tom's face in his hands.
Tom pushed Max's hands away from his face and took a step back. Tom smiled at Max before turning back and scooping Nathan in his arms and taking Siva by his hand. Leading Jay ahead, Tom turned to the door. "Oh come on Tom, at least I'm honest to you. I told you everything instead of lying to you. And you know, all this was before our wedding and before I had even met you." Max said. "I know, Max. I'm not angry at you. I need some time to think about what you've just told me okay." Tom said as he walked out with the kids.
Max sighed as he sat down on the bed ran a hand through his hair, frustratingly. He was just being honest to Tom and was his honesty really worth Tom walking out on him with the kids? Max sighed as he sat there alone thinking about what had just happened. His encounter with the past had been very costly.

P.S – Do you think Max did the right thing by being honest to Tom and telling him everything about Bianca? And was Tom right to walk away with the kids and to say he needed time to think about what Max had just told him?
