5 years later

Tom couldn't believe that they'd finally come 5 long more years with the boys. He and Max were still going on strong together. They've come a long way from the cheating rumors and the trust issues. In fact, Tom was kind of sure that their relationship could now withstand anything. They've been through so much that now, it doesn't feel like there is more to that their relationship would not be able to witness. Nope, this time he was sure of his relationship, of the unity within the family.

In these five years a lot had happened. Their oldest had now reached his 16 years old. It was kind of difficult for Tom to watch Jay grow up. He couldn't believe that when he had adopted the boy, he was only 8 years old and now he had a tall and handsome 16 year old that was slowly outgrowing his Daddy's boy stage. His clumsy boy had not lost much of his characteristics but had slowly grown into that confident boy, going on to represent his school on a major dance platform. Tom and Max couldn't have been any more proud of their boy.

Siva, in the five years, had grown into a tall 13 year old just like his elder brother. Siva still had his little boy characteristics. He was still their sweet little shy boy. Often struggling to mark his presence due to his shy nature, their middle child had though bagged a modelling contract. He'd accompany Max on one of his photo shoots and happened to catch the sights of modelling company who went on to offer Max a contract of father-son photo shoot. Needless to say that Siva had been the center of attraction throughout the modelling contract. Tom was sure that his middle child was going to be catching a lot of attention as he grows up.

Last was their little boy, Nathan. Nathan was finally going to celebrate his ten years old. Tom was really looking forward to Nathan's tenth birthday. Unlike the others, his little boy was still his baby boy. He was still Daddy's boy and Papa's little man. Jay had outgrown the cuddles and kisses while Siva would shy away from them in public but Nathan was still the little sucker for hugs and kisses. Their little boy had not lagged behind in making his parents proud. The little boy had grown into a hobby of singing and would often get in trouble at school as he would try to get out of sports classes in order to spend some time in the music hall. His little guy was quite a handful at his ten years old.

In their early thirties, both Tom and Max had reached the stable and routine part of life. They watched their kids grow up together, still firmly attached to each other. While Tom was still working with his fashion house, Max had slowly taken a step back from his modelling life. He had become more of a stay at home Dad that would occasionally take up some modelling assignments, sometimes would lend a hand to Tom's fashion house or would be found spending some time playing footie with Louis. Their life was going on smoothly.

Speaking of Louis, the George Parker family had grown very close to the Tomlinson family. This was the reason why they were number one on the guest list for Nathan's birthday. After all, who could forget Nathan's best friend Niall. Along with Niall, you had to invite Siva's bestie Zayn and Jay's best buddy Harry. Hence why the Tomlinson family were the first name on the guest list. Not to mention that Louis and Liam had been a great help to Tom and Max to make Nathan's birthday party a success.

Nathan's tenth birthday party was on a music theme. Tom had used Nathan's passion for music as the theme for the boy's birthday party and it was adorable to watch Nathan dressed in a 'ten years of awesomeness' shirt as he cut his guitar shaped birthday cake. Tom had to thumb a tear away, not wanting to believe that his baby boy was growing up. But he was unable to stop the tears though when Nathan ran to hug him after seeing his birthday gift. They'd bought him a piano and Nathan couldn't be anymore happy to see his birthday gift.

The birthday party was a complete mess of music, kids, cakes and little giggles around. But Tom wouldn't have it otherwise. The big smile on his youngest one's face was just worth it. They'd surely come a long way with their kids. And Tom and Max couldn't be anymore prouder than that.

The kids were probably growing up fast and Tom and Max wanted nothing more than to cherish these memories. After all, every moment was worth cherishing.
