Checkups and Date

Max woke up to silence in his house. Next to him Tom was still sleeping. As much as Max wanted to snuggle Tom and stay in bed, he knew today was very much important for them and their boys. It was their boys’ medical checkup today. He lightly tapped his fingers on Tom’s cheeks to wake his husband up. “Let me sleep” Tom whined. “Get up lazy head! Your sons have a date with a certain man in white coat with pointy objects and other stuffs.” Max chuckled. “Don’t tell me” Tom said waking up fully. He groaned as Max nodded.

Max decided to wake Jay up as Tom went to get Siva. It was a quick work of getting the boys ready and even managing to scoop Nathan in. But as soon as the boys were buckled in, Jay asked, “Where’re we going?” “Just for a checkup, boys” Max said as he drove. Jay pouted he didn’t like not being told beforehand while Siva cried silently. The last time he went to a doctor they had pointy stuffs in their hands and kept poking him because his Father had stabbed him. Nathan sobbed out when he heard checkup because the last time they were touching his head and didn’t let Daddy come near him. Tom sighed as he saw his boys but it was for their own good, he convinced himself.

Max parked the car as Jay got down pouting. Max scooped Siva up as Tom got Nathan. They walked in the waiting room but were soon called in. “Hello Mr. Parker” The doctor greeted Tom and Max, “what do we have today?” The doctor saw how the two youngest were clinging to their Daddies, so he decided to get Jay checked first. “How about you first, big boy?” The doctor said. Jay looked at Tom who nodded and guided Jay over the examination table. The doctor took Jay’s vitals and took a look at the fading bruises. He nodded at Jay before moving to Siva who refused to get down from Max’s arms clinging tightly to his Papa. The doctor had to check him while he sat in Max’s lap and even took a quick look at the scar in Siva’s shoulder. Nathan’s checkup went fairly well as he giggled every time the doctor touched him with the cold stethoscope and also his Daddy was holding him protectively so he wasn’t scared.

But the next part was hard for all for them. It was time for their yearly flu shots. Jay was the first and as soon as he saw the tray of injections he burst into tears. Max took Siva and Nathan outside as Tom stayed with Jay. Tom held Jay’s hands as he got the two injections in each of his arms. He led Jay out as Max got in with Siva. Siva was another case and he cried loudly as the two injections were done. Tom then had Nathan’s injections done and he was pretty sure all of them were deaf after the injections as Nathan’s wails were loud.

Walking out of the much dreaded place, Max buckled Siva in his chair after doing Nathan’s as Tom buckled Jay in. Max drove out and glanced at the back to see his kids sleeping. Opting to drive back home, he set out for home. And soon Max had his kids in bed taking a little nap as the Daddies took some time to sit around. “Max, you remember what’s tomorrow?” Tom asked. “Of course love, it’s been exactly 5 years since we met!” Max said locking lips with Tom. “I was thinking we could perhaps do something special tomorrow” Tom said. “You sure to get in bed with me all day tomorrow? I mean with kids around.” Max said pressing kisses to Tom’s jaws and neck. “Not this, I meant we could go on like a date?” Tom laughed. “That’s a good idea but what about the kids?” Max asked. “I haven’t thought about that” Tom said beginning to worry. “Tom, how about a babysitter?” Max said. Tom smiled nodding.

But the idea was not so welcomed by the kids. After a lot of last minute trying to find a babysitter, they had managed to get someone but when they told the kids that they were going out the next day, it wasn’t such an accepting decision for the boys. Nathan had wailed on knowing Daddy and Papa won’t be here the next day and Tom had to scoop him up rocking him in his arms. Jay was also in a bad shape. Max had a hard time shushing him down. Surprisingly Siva had not said a single word. He sat quietly looking at his Daddies soothing his brothers. Max noticed him and smiled, “I’m glad you understand son!”

But no one knew what Siva was actually thinking. He didn’t like babysitters. They were mean. The last time his Foster Father had called someone saying that he’ll be going out for some days and that man will babysit him, it had been very bad. The man, Peter, had been good the first day but he always tried to touch Siva, kissing him, squeezing him tightly and touching at wrong places. When Siva tried to push him away, he started hitting him and Peter loved to spank him and then touch him again and again. At his young age he didn’t know what the man was doing.

That night Tom and Max slept with the kids itself, trying to spend some more time with their kids. The next morning, Tom and Max had their routine done again. And by the evening they were ready to go. Max was playing with Nathan as Tom kissed both of his sons on their foreheads before twirling Nathan in his arms. Max did the same to his sons and moved on to open the door as he heard the doorbell. Siva stretched himself to look at the man at the door and gasped as he saw Peter!

Siva ran to Max holding him tightly and sobbing loudly. Max scooped him up, “hey buddy! It’s alright. Don’t cry. Papa and Daddy will be back by 11 pm baby! Come on we’re not going forever! Shush baby!” Max hushed Siva. “Sorry, Peter, come in. Boys meet Peter. He’ll take good care of you.” Tom said introducing Jay and Nathan to Peter. Peter smiled and stretched his arms towards Siva. Max had a little trouble in detaching Siva from him and he felt really bad as Siva gave him a sad look. “Behave for Peter boys! We’ll be back soon. We love you all.” Tom said moving out of the door. “Seev! Papa loves you kiddo.” Max smiled as he nodded to Peter before moving out.

Peter smirked as he closed the door. Jay sat on the floor trying to calm Siva down and Nathan also tried to sooth his big brother, “Daddy, Papa come back Seev!” Nathan assured Siva. “They will be back boys but not before 11. How about we have some fun? What say boys? Siva, you’ll enjoy the fun!” Peter said smiling. Siva looked at him fear evident in his eyes. Now what?

P.s – I need ideas! I don’t plan on getting the boys kidnapped but actually I plan on getting Peter to try to touch Siva again but Jay and Nathan tries to stop him. Should I do this or do something else with Peter! Ideas?
