A/N Sorry that the writing goes all over the place when they're talking, it's because instead of going down two lines for the next sentence they say, I just pressed space until I was on the next line, and it kind of messed up the way it was laid out. I hope you can still read it, I just didn't want big gaps between speech. Hope you enjoy anyway!

I read the first thing on the list out loud. "Snorkeling." How did he know. How did he know that I hate the water, and everything to do with it. Swimming, I can just about handle, but snorkeling, that's a different story. But, if it's to gain his trust and help him again, I'll do it. I guess.
For the first task, you gotta meet me at the beach, beside the chippy. OK? Evan texts
OK, but for the rest nine tasks I'll have to do them after Christmas, 'cause I'm going to my parents. I reply. I put down my phone and set off too the beach. This will be fun.
I get in my car, and as I drive I strum the steering wheel to the music of Bob Marley. "Ahh, Marley. You're a good singer." I say to myself.
I reach the beach, and of course, of all days, the waves our crashing against the rocks, splashing everyone and everything within 20 feet. We're gonna die. I meet Evan, perched upon the rocks, drenched with the water. He doesn't seem to mind. I guess he likes water, unlike me. I yell at him to get down, but he continues staring at the waves, leaving me unnoticed. Guess I'll have to go get him.
I climb up the rocks, slipping at every step with the algae. I cling onto seaweed for help, but they don't hold my weight, and I'm dropped into the sea. The waves swallow me, the current strong. I'm smashed against the rock by the cresting wave, and badly cut my head. I slip back into the water, trying to scream for help, but my attempts are muffled with the crashing sea. I'm brought up again to breathe, then smashed into the rocks again. I fall in, losing hope. The glass at the bottom cuts my back as I fall onto it, and I wince. It'll all be over soon.
Surprisingly strong arms lift me up to the surface, and when my eyes focus I notice I'm wresting in Evan's arms. I'm spluttering and gasping, spitting out salt water, while he stares at me, concerned. He carries me up top the wall, then settles me down, kneeling in front of me. "You OK?" He asks, staring at me with worried eyes. In spite of everything, I start to giggle. "And I thought you were a weakling. Thanks though, must of been hard to carry a lump like me!"
He shakes his head, smiling. "I may not go to the gym, but I can pick up a feather. C'mon snorkeling time." He claps and rubs his hands together. "You serious? I've got to go back into that again?" I gasp. "Once we get you cleaned up." He grins as he mops my head with the bottom of his t-shirt. "Anymore injuries?" I shake my head no. As I stand up and walk towards the sea. He calls my name. "Yes?" I reply, wanting to get the snorkeling over and done with. "The back of your top is covered in blood." He says. I twist around, trying to see it.
He sighs as he walks over to me. "We've got to get that cleaned before we go snorkeling. Go into the bathroom and wash it" I sigh heavily as I stomp towards the bathroom. I get a tissue and wipe my back with great difficulty. Not all the blood is gone, but it's good enough. I get into the wet-suit he handed me, struggling with the zip at the back. Evan knocks on the cubicle I'm in. "You OK in there?" He asks. "No! I can't get the stupid zip! Help!!" I yelp as I jump up and down, trying to pull it up. I open the door and turn my back to Evan.
I hold up my short hair as he attempts to zip the wet-suit closed. "It's caught on your bikini." He says as he tries to get the bikini out of the way. I feel my cheeks burn. Why did I even where a bikini today? He'll see my disgusting gut and hips. Great. Finally, the zip fastens the wet-suit together.
"Thank you" I sigh, and we get out of the bathroom and walk towards the surface. The cold waves flush over my toes, but we wade in anyways. I shriek with the coldness as it reaches our knees, occasionally the waves splashing our whole body and forcing us down onto the sand. Evan grips my hand firmly, being certain that I won't fall. Then there's a huge dip, and I sink downwards, Evan has me tightly by the waist, he's taller then me, so the water is at his hips, where as it's at my shoulders.
After a minute neither of us can touch the sea floor, so we're forced to swim. I pull down my goggles that have the snorkeler thing on it, and put my face down. As I sink beneath the waves, my first instinct is to hold my breath, but then I remember I can breathe. We swim around, and it actually turns out to be quite fun. We go deeper, but only as far as the buoy is, marking how far we can swim. The waves crash over us, but it's OK, because we're basically fully underwater. When huge waves come, we hold our breath and dive beneath it. Underwater is very beautiful. The waters are quite murky, so we don't see much animals, but occasionally we see animals such as turtles or octopuses, but it's mainly regular fish you see all the time, yet its still surreal.
After two hours it's time to surface. We swim back until our feet touch the sand, then we walk, pushing against the force of water. The waves from behind splash over us, making us scream in fright and joy.

When we're in our clothes and are all dry, we walk to get a crepe. We go to Gino's, the really expensive place on the beach, but it's the only place that serves crepes. I get nutella and banana, while Evan decides to be boring and just gets lemon and sugar. We sit on the wall, swinging our legs as we look out onto the sea. I bite into the warm crepe, the nutella seeping out and covering my teeth. Once I'm done, I wipe my mouth with the back of my hand. Evan is still half way through. He stares at me in surprise.
"You've got chocolate all over your face." He grins. I wipe my mouth again, and then he laughs. "Oh no, it's just your freckles." I punch him playfully and we run along the path, people staring at us with either annoyance or worry. We laugh as we run, and it feels so good to just stretch my legs and run. It feels like I haven't had this much fun in ages.
I'm really looking forward to the next challenge.
A/N I actually really liked this chapter, it was really fun to do. Evan and Sam are getting a bit romantic *waggles eyebrows* I'm getting the romantic inspiration from a series I'm reading for like the fifth time, and I really recommend it. It's by Jenny Han.
Book 1: The Summer I turned Pretty
Book 2: It's not Summer without You
Book 3: We'll always have Summer
They're just really good books. I can't explain them, so you'll just have to go read them yourself. Hope you enjoyed this chapter!! Sam seems to be getting less sacred of food, as she eat that crepe with no bother! YAYYYYYY
