CHAPTER 18

"You okay?" I looked at Leticia and nodded my head.

Since I went to talk to her yesterday, I saw a different side to her, a side that did have feelings. She wouldn't tell me why she liked getting on Addison's nerves though.

I knew that Addison was annoyed that I had chosen to go and see her but her and Isabella left last night so she didn't need to see this.

"Fine," I replied and she sat down next to me in our homeroom classroom. It was only the two of us here.

She got the phone out and looked at the screen before leaving it on the table.

"Are you upset that Addison left?" she asked and I sighed loudly.

"Do you really have to ask me that? Of course I am," I snapped and she rolled her eyes.

"It was just a question," she replied and I rolled my eyes at her.

Folding my arms across my chest, I leaned back in my seat and sighed. "Why do you do this long distance thing when you're both miserable with it?" She asked and I sighed loudly.

"Because I love her just as much as she loves me."

"Yeah but it makes you both miserable and you're both young-"

"Are you trying to get me to break up with her?" She rolled her eyes and frowned. "Because I know Addison and her friend did upset you but that doesn't give you the right to-"

"I'm not," she snapped. "I was just looking out for you. I mean we are friends and I hate having to see that scowl on your face every miserable day."

"Who had you down as a caring person?" I mocked and she rolled her eyes.

It was true, Leticia Dean was a complete utter dog to everyone, including her teammates, the only exceptions to that were her friends and that was the popular people. She was so hard on her team members that they always said they wanted Addison back.

"Fine that is the last time I try and look out for you."

I chuckled because she was a drama queen and she loved over exaggerating.

"You don't get it. We've been dating for a while Leticia, we can't just break up," I replied and she gave me a small smile.

"As long as she makes you happy, that's what matters right?"

"Yeah it is."

The door opened and Spencer walked inside with Kevin.

There was a time when she used to sit on this very desk but she decided against it and chose to sit at the front with the new friends she made.

"Spence," I said and she turned around to look at me.

"Yeah?"

"Has Ads texted you?" I asked and she nodded her head.

"Yeah she texted when she landed and the texting went from there," she replied and I nodded my head. "Did she text you?"

"Yeah, I just didn't want her to stop texting you, I knew you got mad before."

She gave me a small smile but before she could reply, Kevin distracted her and started talking to her about the Calculus homework we had.

"I don't like him," Leticia whispered very loudly so we all heard her.

"You don't like anyone though do you?" Spencer snapped a she turned around to look at her and I rolled my eyes, not looking forward to their bickering. One of them always got pissed off.
