|Ella's POV

I sat in my room and hid my face into my pillow. I didn't want him to find out that quick. No one knew, I thought I did well hiding them. I guess not.

My phone vibrated for the 100th time and I lifted it up, annoyed at the noise. Hunter had been texting me non-stop. I locked my phone and faced the ceiling. Why can't I trust anyone?

-2 MONTHS BEFORE-

I walked down the halls with my best friends, Hayden and Trevor, when my phone started ringing. I looked at it and saw that Brittany, one of my other friends at our school, had texted me.

From: Brittany Conners
Nice to know that you that you think I'm annoying and self centered. K. Thought you were a good friend. Not anymore. I also told Christian and Fran what you said about them. They're not too happy. Glad to know I'll be losing one more friend that likes to talk shit :) have a nice day, Ella.

I teared up at the text and looked at Hayden and Trevor. They were the only ones I talked to about Brittany, Christian, and Fran. And to be honest, it wasn't even that much. I only said that they got annoying at times. I never said anything about Brittany being self centered.

"You told Brittany?" I stopped and looked at them, tears threatening to come out. My phone began vibrating. There were even more texts from all my friends. "I trusted you two."

"Ell, it slipped. I'm sorry," Hayden said and walked towards me. I backed away and she tried to stop me.

"No, don't touch me. I can't trust you anymore."

And with that, I turned around and ran out of the school. Hayden and Trevor yelled my name, but I didn't turn back. I couldn't turn back.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

"Ella, you have a visitor!" Collin yelled from downstairs. I then heard footsteps walking towards my door. There was a faint knock before the door knob twisted. Hunter then walked in and looked at me with dad eyes.

"Can we talk about it, Ell?" He whispered and leaned against the door. I nodded and closed my eyes. I prepared to tell Hunter about how my friends betrayed me and I started to get bullied. I prepared to tell him everything.

I trusted Hunter.
