Chapter 30

|Ella's POV

I sat on the couch in our room and went through my instagram. Hunter had posted a picture of us he took in the elevator before his phone died and there were so many comments on it saying how everyone was thankful we survived. I laughed to myself and locked my phone. I stood and stretched, walking over to my bed. I heard the shower stop running, signaling Hunter would be out soon.

I laid on the bed and buried my head into the pillow. It was currently one in the morning, and we all needed our sleep for tomorrow. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off. Then, I felt the familiar pair of arms wrap around me from behind. I didn't move, knowing it was Hunter.

He kissed my shoulder lightly and said, "I don't know if you know this, but you mean the world to me, Princess." I didn't move, my eyes stayed closed. I pretended to stay asleep, hoping he would say more.

"I love you to pluto and back an infinite number of times. You're not only the best girlfriend I've ever had, but my closest friend. I could never imagine my life without you in it. I love you so so so much, Princess." He kissed my cheek and turned off the bedside light. I smiled to myself in the dark and breathed out.

"I love you too, Hunter." I turned towards him and quickly kissed his lips. He wrapped his arms around me tighter and kissed my forehead gently.
