|Ella's POV

"Ell!" Hunter yelled once I answered the facetime call. I had just gotten home from school and was really excited to tell him about everything.

"Oh my gosh, Hunter, I thought school here was going to be a lot worse than it actually is." I giggled and set my phone against the wall behind my desk. I sat down and spin in my spinny chair.

"I'm glad you like it," he chuckled and smiled the smile I missed seeing in person. "Whom have you chosen to replace me with?"

"You're not going to be replaced, Hunter. And there's this nice girl named Alice. Then I sit in between a girl named Vivian and a boy named Xavier in math."

"That sounds great, Ell. I'm really glad you're making friends." He stood up from where he was sitting and began walking. "You just gotta let me know if a girl named Lena says anything to you."

"Why?"

"That's my ex, and she gets jealous easily. I just don't want you to get hurt." He sighed and sat down again, this time propping his phone like I had done. I saw him sit down as Ashton ran behind him. He jumped onto his back and waved to me. I giggled and waved back.

God did I miss them already.

---

I was currently in my science class, working with Alice and a guy I had met earlier that day, Trevor, when someone came up to me. It was a girl with olive skin, beautiful auburn hair that ended at the middle of her back, and these green eyes that stood out the most out of any of her features.

"Ella, right?" She asked kindly and leaned against my desk. I nodded and looked over at Alice, who was giving me a concerned look. "Lena, nice to formally meet you."

Shit. This must be the Lena Hunter warned me about.

"You too," I smiled kindly, trying not to show my nervousness.

"You're friends with the Rowlands, right?" She sounded sincere. I already didn't like her. Something about her gave me a bad vibe. I nodded once again as I thought of Hunter. I missed him so much and it hasn't been a week yet. "Oh, I used to date Hunter. He must've told you about me." She gave me a smirk, trying to make her seem like she was top shit.

"No, he hasn't actually." I said and leaned forward. Trevor chuckled and Alice covered her mouth, trying not to laugh. It was somewhat true, I had just found out about her last night and all he did was warn me. Not much.

"Oh," her face dropped. She then looked up at me and gave me a smile. "Well, ill leave you back to your work. You seem really cool, give me a call." She leaned down and wrote something at the top of my paper. Her number. She then strutted away to her little group of friends and began talking away.

I turned to my friends to see a laughing Trevor and a confused Alice. "What the hell was that," Alice asked.

I looked at the number. Would it be a good idea to become friends with Lena? I knew she would use me to get to Hunter. It was so obvious she still liked him.

I took my pen and scribbled the number.

"That was something that I'm not getting involved in."
