Catalina's pov:

I felt peaceful of once in my life, for once I didn't feel any type of pain. So for some off reason I felt safe. Why didn't I feel anything, could I be died. No I wouldn't be that lucky, with me luck, I would wake up and find myself in my room. Any moment I would be woken up by my mother or father, and I would have hell to pay for what happened at the ball.

But when I did open my eyes I realized I wasn't in my room. I was on a king size bed, in a room I had never seen before. I could tell it was early morning, but that's all I could tell for sure. I could be in another country for I knew.

I started to panic were was I, who brought me here, what did they want? As I looked down at what im wearing I notice someone had change me out of the dress I was wearing last night. I was now in some black basketball shorts and a white shirt, both were way too big.

Just then the door opens, and walks in the most handsome guy I have ever set on. He is about six one, a well tone body, short brown hair, and the most beautiful green eyes. I was too busy checking him out that I didn't even notice he had asked me a question. It wasn't until he had a smirk on his face that I notice he had talked.

" I'm sorry what did you say" I said in a whisper.

" I said how do you feel? Are you in any kind or pain?"

His voice was amazing, it made a shiver go all over my body.

" I'm fine, but how did I get here? And who are you?"

" Oh shut, I should introduce myself huh. My name is Gabriel Lopez and future alpha of the Golden Valley Pack, and your mate. And what's your name beautiful?"

" Catalina"

" Catalina, I need to know who that girl was last night? I will not let anyone harm my mate do you hear me no one. Who is she?"

What should I do? Could I tell him that my own flesh and blood beat me. That my own pack hates me?

" I can't tell you. Im sorry but I can't I will get in trouble of I do."

" Catalina please no harm will ever come to you again, but you must tell me. Trust me to keep you safe from me, from this day you will be part of my pack."

Could I do this, trust him to keep me safe. Could I trust him from never letting me go back to that house again. This was the only time in my life I was safe, he made my feel this way.

" I will tell you but you must promise me, not to do anything. Please just make sure no harm will come to me please."

" I don't know of I can, my wolf wants to teach that girl a lesson. No one will harm you ever again. So who is she?"

" she's .."

Before I could finish telling him there was a knock on the door.

" don't think this talk is over, we will finish it later. Come in"

A women walks in she is very beautiful, but I have no clue who she is.

"Well I see she us awake, how are u feeling my dear. "

" im fine thank you."

" know I must look you over, im the pack doctor. And Gabriel your father would like to see you. I will take great care of your mate. No run along."

" aunt Maria, im still your next alpha you should treat me with more respect. I will see you later, catalina my aunt will treat you well. I will be back as soon as I can ok."

"ok"

With that he walked out and left me with his aunt. I didn't know what to do and or say. We sat their for a couple of moments not saying anything to each other.

"Well I don't know how to say this my dear, but I need you to be honest with me. Who is it that has treated you like a punching bag, and for how many years has this been going on for."

Not five minutes with me and she knew, she knew the hell I have lived.

Would she tell? What of Gabriel didn't want me anymore?

" please you can't tell anyone. I will get into so much trouble. You can't tell Gabriel, of he knew he wouldn't want me anymore."

He wasn't going to want me, I was a waste of space, no one would ever want me. I started to have a panic attack.

"it's ok I won't tell anyone honey calm down. Just breathe, no one is going to harm you."

It was not going to be ok, they would never going to let me go. But I didn't want to leave Gabriel he made me happy.

"honey please tell me, let me help you."

" I just can't"

" it's ok in time I hope you can open up. Now how about something to ear. What would you like?"

" anything would be ok, what would you like me to make for you?"

" you don't have to do that honey your the future Luna. Let's go get you something to ear."

Well what was I going to do, of I didn't get home soon it would be only worst for me. But how can I get away of they didn't leave me alone.

Gabriel's pov:

I finally found my mate, but someone had dared to harm her. Never again, I won't ever let it happened again. I will make the people reasonable suffer.

This is a promise that I will keep.
