Gabriel pov:

How could I fail my mate? I promised that no harm would ever come to her. And here she is in a hospital bed, it's been 6 hours since we got here. How could someone hurt her. what did she do to deserve this? noughting that's what, she was the sweets girl I have ever meet even after everything she has been through.

When I get my hands on who ever did this to her, they would wish they where died. The doctors said she would be alright,it would be only a couple of hours until she woke up.

"Son how are you holding up" I didn't even notice that my father came into the room.

"how do you think I'm holding up? My mate was hurt right under my nose and I couldn't do a thing to stop it"

"Son you couldn't have done a thing. We all thought she would be safe. Who knew her own mother and sister would do this and then go rouge."

"Dad I should have made sure she got to lillys room alright. But no I had to put a stupid meeting before my own mate. I knew how they treated her before I meet her and yet I trusted them to treat her better and only in a week. How stupid could I be?"

"Son don't think this way. When she wakes up make sure she tells you everything. also make sure she is well enough to travel tommorrow,we leave at 10:00 am. I will see you in the morning. Good night son I hope your mate will be alright."

Even if my father says it isn't my fault I still feel like it is. I can only hope she can forgive me for not being there to protect her. When she wakes up she will tell me what happened but for the time being I won't leave her side, I will watch over her like a mate should.

Unknown pov:

Those stupid women how could they harm her? Don't they know that they could have ruined my plan, but this could work for me. I could use this and make sure she doesn't leave. I could try and make the alpha stop her from going. I could point out that there pack couldn't even protected her here. what could happen to her if they took her away. I just need a little bit more time? all of these years of hard work will be worth it.

there is a knock on the front door,I know it must be my Alpha. he will most likely wants to talk about what has happened. well now its time to play the worried pack mate,I only have one chance to make sure she stays here.

"Good evening Alpha what brings your here at this time of night?"

" Good evening Salvador may I come in? I need someone to talk to and since I can't go to my beta, I have come to you my third."

" Of course if there anything I can do to help."

" It might be a long night my friend are you up for it?"

" We can take all night if need be"

Gabriel pov:

Its been hours since my father has left and catalina still hasn't woken up. Its alright 2 in the morning, the doctor said that if she is up for it then she is well enough to travel. I just hope she wakes up soon, I want to make sure she is alright.

I must have been so deep into my thoughts that I didn't even notice when she woke up. All I knew was when she put her hand on my cheek. When that happened, my eyes snapped right to her face. I was so happy that she was alright, but I could see the confusion in her eyes.

"Love are you alright? Does anything hurt? Do you want me to get the doctor for you?"

"Gabriel were are we? No im fine, my head hurts a little."

"Are you sure that's the only pain your in, you can tell me the truth."

" im fine, but can you tell me what happened. The last thing I remember is that I was walking up to Lilly's bedroom. Then my sister stopped me on the stairs and we were talking. She said something to someone behind me and then it all went black."

" Well love your sister was taking to your mother and all we know for sure is that she hit you on the head and throw you down the stairs.

I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help you. I should have been there to make sure you were alright. Im such a bad mate."

"Gabriel shut up, you are a great mate. I couldn't asked for a better mate. You have nouthing to be sorry for. But will this stop us from heading home."

"Don't worry about that the doctor said you are well enough. We leave at 10:00 am. Do you still want to come?"

"of course I don't want to be away from you."

"me either, but we should still get some rest. Don't worry about packing someone has already do that."

"ok will you stay with me?"

"of course I would."
