HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :)
Okay, now we're all done with that.
Anyway, so about the plot lines.
the best plot lines is when you actually mull about it.
You know, one of my editor, when I was in my freshman in high school said that. . . "When you write an article, I suggest you sleep with it, eat with it, until you know every inch of that character, that place and everything else."
That never really left my mind.
So when I write?
The first thing I think of is the plot line, then the character's name.
What I usually do. . .
1. Take out a small notepad, and carry it with me everywhere. In case I get a boost of inspiration.
2. I make everything my inspo, from music, movies, lines, feelings, quotes and etc. and yes, even real experiences can make you a better writer. When someone breaks my heart, after bawling out, I usually thank them inwardly, because I know I can write a better chapter after that. xD And use that.
HAHAHAHA so beware of writers! You never know if you're a villain, a friend or worst if you're murdered in their write-ups, we can all be Taylor Swift in our own way. *wink wink* xD
3. I store up all those things, and when I'm in a writer's block, I go back and see.
4. If you have a writer's block, I suggest you write even more. No matter how crappy it is, after awhile, it would be less crappier and then you could either tear it apart and make a new one, or improve it even further.
5. Again and again, you have to have a support system. That would really help you! :) It's exciting when your friends or family gives you a feedback.
6. STAY AWAY FROM CLICHE STORIES! NEVER WRITE BECAUSE OF JUST FOR POPULARITY.
7. WRITE FOR YOUR PLEASURE, DON'T WRITE BECAUSE PEOPLE TELLS YOU TO DO THAT OR THIS. Sometimes that could happen. If you're getting torn apart by each sides, from your heart and from your readers, I suggest you take a break and balance everything else out. If it's good for your story to listen to their suggestion go ahead, but if you think it would tarnish your story, don't ever listen to anyone but your inner writer goddess/demi-god.
8. If you're going to write a werewolf, a vampire or the usual popular genre? Make a twist.
Don't be one of those boring people.
Own it.
9. Oh and research!
10. Be true to your character, if he speaks french, let him speak a bit of french. If he knows medical stuff, at least research on that. I've mentioned before hiro0911 is like one of my most fave writer ever! since if you see the level of his research and dedication, it's incredible! I highly recommend for you to see his story, "Fist and Lipstick" is the best story ever! It made me cry, laugh, be angry and incite everything from me!
See?
That's how good he is.
It actually takes him years before he publishes new story because of the level of his research. Gahhh fangirling over here! xD
Sorry.

I hope this helps!
Happy new year! :)
p.s. if you have more suggestions and advice, we would be glad to include you in this book, and post your advice. Thank you!
