@EleanorHelena:

I'm featured as of last week and it isn't instant fame. And I mean no matter what your story has to be interesting and something others like. :) i think also how many chapters you have . I know I don't always read stories that have less the. Ten chapters you know? I do try to find new writers to check out every day or so.

Can't say enough good things about silks, untroubledsoul, and skar book. And not just them we really have some great authors in this club. I love chaneyBob's book and honypy regular gut scope (too lazy to fix auto correct haha) point is I don't think I've read a book I don't like in the club

naw...I Still only have 100 followers. And I mean really it does depend on how often you update (every update I get more followers) people want to make sure you won't leave them hanging on a story. Also, for me I thnk it is important never to get an ego because you are number 1 or featured. I'll always answer my comments, my messages and etc. I don't care how many people do, I'll never act like I'm better or anything. I can't stand the authors who don't interact because they are 'famous'

@WishingStar01:

I attempt to respond to all my comments but there are times, especially when i was updating, that I would get like...20 in an hour and my notifications wouldn't tell me v.v I HATE when that happens. I'm also the kind of writer who tries to thank dedicated readers as in: I'll dedicate chapters to them and when I have time i try to double update for them.....

don't let my readers know, but I'm planning on giving them a christmas present of a double update on BOTH of my stories to say thanks for everything :3 i can't do much but I can do that -w-

@EleanorHelena:

yeah I mean I don't respond to every comment but my messages I do. I try to at least and comments I at least stop and try to say thanks. Also try to let people know i appreciate them voting. Just don't want to ever being interactve.

@WishingStar01:

exactly!!!!!! plus some of the conversations you get into...I've had a few times where my readers gave me ideas to help and I have like a handful of them that I can go to for plotting help if I'm having an issue and they're more than willing to help XD

I remember there was a time where I had Writer's Block and I posted a status about it...i had like six/seven people message me HOW CAN WE HELP???? XD

Royal888:

Hi. I just stumbled across this thread. I like all the conversations I have read so far. On the topic of famous/ featured authors, what do you think of authors who follow loads of people and then unfollow them. They are left with 0-10 people that they follow. Have you had that experience. What do you think of it. For me it had happened that at least a few people who started following me a while who unfollowed me and I notice its not just me they unfollowed. They follow like 1 or 2 people or up to 10 and have like 1000+ followers.

By the way this forum is amazing. Well done to the founder of this club.

@Regular_Guy

Welcome royal. B) I'm El Hefe, you're right with that. People would follow upto 1k people then when they surpass the 1k after being followed back, they start eliminating their following XD Smart move.

@EleanorHelena:

see people do that a lot. I try to follow back on everyone BUT I watch and see, cause you can kind of tell who will do that. I think some people just through and follow as many as they can for that reason. I guess I've become careful now on who to follow
