Let's have a check list first, to see if you're all geared up for the writing battle.
1. Is your plotline thought of already? ✔
2. Is your cover attractive enough? ✔
3. Is your blurb interesting? ✔
4. Is your characters relatable, are they real? believable? (I'll cover that later on) ✔
5. Is your Title not soooooooooo freaking boring and long? Does it have a "Wow factor"? Do you think people can remember it? ✔
6. Do you have an editor? ✔
7. Is your grammar good? if not excellent? ✔
Good, now if so far so good, you've checked your bucket list too, then you're in for a great start.
Now after this, go join a club. This would give your book more visibility more than anything else. It would also help you to meet different kind of authors, and expand your horizon.
