Chapter 17

I woke up to high pitch laughter. It took a second for my eyes to adjust to the new found light they saw. I looked around try to remember where I was again as the road passed around me. Then the laughter came again this time followed but horrible singing.

"Hot girls we have problems too, we're just like you except we're hot," then more laughter.

"Oh gosh Dana stop I think you're singing worst then them." It takes a second but then I realized what was going on. They were trying to sing and sing horribly while I was in a good sleep. Nothing puts me to sleep fast then a car ride, or in this case a bus ride.

"Like Miley said I can't be tamed." I look up from my seat to see Dana striking a pose. Kayla laughed again followed by Cole's own laughter.

That's when I realize Cole isn't sitting next to me. "Why have I never seen this video before!" Kayla shrikes laughing more.

"What's going on?" I say sounding dazed.

"Dana and Cole were showing me this video of these girls singing. Have you seen this?"

"What's it called?"

"Hot Problems by double take. The song isn't that funny but when these two act it out best thing I have ever seen." She waved her arms to get her point across. I walk to the middle of the bus to see what all the fuss is about."you have to watch 'em do this."

They turned on the music as Kayla came to sit with me pulling out her phone. Cole handed me his phone with the music on it so I could watch the video while watching them.

They acted out the video from beginning to end. I don't think I have ever laughed as hard as I did while watching them.

"So when we get to Dallas what are we gonna do?" Kayla asked moving back over to Dana laying to him.

"Um... Well... It's gonna be the fourth of july weekend and everything so I was thinking we just hang out there because I think the bus stations might be closed."

"Hey Jim are you guys gonna be closed on the fourth?" Dana asked. I didn't know who Jim was but I kinda guessed he was the only other person on this bus.

"Yeah sorry kids. It'll be open on the 6 or 7th."

"We're gonna be there for three or four days." I pouted. I know I said this could give us more time to plan for L.A but I didn't wanna stay in Texas that long. Just like a day or two not three or four. And what if something goes wrong and we stay longer.

"Hey what's wrong with Texas!" Kayla shouted at me.

"Nothing. Well I wouldn't really know I've never been there before so..."

"You've never been to Texas," they all looked at me like I was crazy. "Dear sweet baby Jesus girl you have been missing out on life."

"You've know me forever Kayla you know I've never really be out side of my home town only on small vacations the the island Cole dad owns."

"I love that place, but Texas is better."

"You know they say everything is bigger in Texas right?" Cole says winking at me.

"They only big thing Cole got from Texas was his ego other than that he's just like every other person out there." Cole put his hand to his heart like what she said hurt. I couldn't help but let a little giggle slip out.

"Oh so you think that's funny," he said smirking down at me. I automatically stopped shaking me head no." You sure? It look like you did."I shook my head again getting up. "Oh no I think you did. Come here." He got up an followed me to the back tackling me to a seat and tickling me. "Is it still funny?" I finally gave in saying yes which only Caused him to tickle me more.
