Hey ppz this is my new story for 2016 check it out and comment and vote if you like it, wanted to do a hunter story for while and wanted something different enjoy!
I surveyed the wall before me full of neatly placed weapons raging from crossbows, guns and knives. I was still undecided about which instruments to take with me on the hunt. I finally decided on the neco handgun because of all the weapons it was still the most effective at killing any supernatural be it werewolf's or vampires. There was just the nick about changing the ammunition for each kill like wooden tipped bullets or silver ones. The horn of the jeep made me exit the hidden room and walk outside where my brother and sister were waiting. "You ready Ness?" He asked. "I'm always ready." I replied. My sister snorted at my cocky attitude. As I climbed in shotgun. My brother just smirked at me as he put the jeep into drive and backed out our front yard. The gates opening and closing automatically. Yes we were pretty sorted for Hunters thanks to the Hunter's organization known as Primatec. As its known to the world and the largest front and driving force for all our operations.
"Alright kids in this group there's about six vampires we're outnumbered but keep in mind that four are newly turned." My brother gave us the rundown of today's operation. I was staring out the window watching the trees pass by but was listening to everything he said. "They are untrained in their abilities but remember their tough and stronger with that untapped power. So use the stakes as a last resort if they get close enough other wise keep your guns up and don't hesitate." My brother finished his face determined. We nodded and the rest of the ride was in silence as we got ourselves in the zone. It was dusk when we left but now it almost completely dark with just a last bit of orange visible.
We stopped about a mile away from the abandoned farm house. We went over the plan again going over our positions. After checking our weapons my brother gave us the go ahead so we split up and began the trek towards the house. Walking into a house full of vampires was a very bad idea without the proper weapons. Having built-in weapons tipped the odds in their favour against an unarmed hunter. We arrived at the house ruffly at the same time my brother taking the front and my sister and I the back.
My brother was waiting at the front door for us to get into position. We kicked in the back door. The sound echoed through out the house. Probably alerting them of our presence but we wanted to flush them out sparing time in searching the whole house. By brother followed b kicking in the front but it was quiet. We waited a moment but nothing happened. My sister walked in first with me covering her back. The house smelled stale and the floors were dusty. There was creaking sound to my left making me aim my gun instinctively but there was nothing so we moved on. Suddenly there was a crash and two shots followed by a curse from a familiar voice. My brother rounded the corner with vampire blood on his neck and chest not looking happy but he had no injuries which we were thankful for. So he headed upstairs as we moved on through the halls. My sister stopped at a door that was slightly ajar she signaled to me she was going in making me glare at her back she knew the rules. I wanted to shout for her to wait but she was already inside taking the steps down to what I assume was the basement. Great a dark basement is just the place a vampire would be in. I though to myself sarcastically. I hurried to catch up to my sister just when she screamed. "Vanessa!" Making my heart beat a mile a minute instantly. I ascended the stairs two at time not caring about falling. The dim light hanging from the ceiling was not helping much with seeing where I was going but luckily I didn't trip. I heard another scream and knew I was close. I hoped my brother was doing better. Of course he is I scolded myself. Focus on finding your sister your brother can take care of himself. When I reached the basement floor a vampire lunged at me. A normal person would have scream but I used the momentum to plunge a stake into its chest ramming it straight through. Pushing him off me. I found another one standing behind my sister her gun discarded on the floor behind them. Her arms restrained by his grip on her. My sister's eyes were wide as he sniffed her neck while grinning at me confidently. He was definitely the leader and older so more experienced than the newborns making me up my guard. I gripped the other stake and gun in my hands trying to figure out which one to use against the blood sucking bastard. I was to far to use the stake but one mistake and I could shoot my sister. "Ah, ah, ah my fangs will be in her lovely neck before you can do anything or I could just snap her neck." He says tauntingly. Cold heavy dread pooled in my stomach at his words. Either way my sister is dead. "So be a good girl and just drop the stake and gun already." He smiled smugly. I lowered the gun and stake slowly. My sister gave me code that she's going pull a distracting diversion with her eyes. And pleading for me not to miss. The vampire released his grip on her arms. First mistake, then she swung her head back with sickening force connecting to the vampires face. The look on his face was probably more surprise than actual pain. But took aim and fired getting him right between the eyes. He stood there for two seconds with a look of pure disbelief on his face but then dropped dead beside my sister eyes wide open. She had just picked up her gun when two more vampires came rushing into the room with inhuman speed. One look at their fallen leader and they hissed flashing their fangs at me and my sister we both just raised an eyebrow and emptied out guns on them watching them dance and drop dead like the leader of their little clan.
When he got upstairs my bother called it in as another job well done. We set the house on fire to destroy the bodies and whatever evidence we left. "I knew you could make that shot." My sister Kayla grinned at me." She winced when we jump of the porch. "Remind me to never headbutt a vampire again, jeez I think I have a concussion." She complained. Josh walked up behind her putting his hand on her shoulder to stop her. She turned around to face him.
He pressed and tilted her head making her wince again. He pulled a little torch looking device out of his pocket shining it in her eyes. "It not too serious but I'll get you something for the headache. He concludes. My brother was going away to medical school. I knew it was hard for him to leave us. But we promised him we would be fine and not do any big jobs without him. My sister nodded gratefully. My brother looked like he wanted to say something more but turned and walked motioning for us to follow. Turning back towards the house I thought I saw movement by the window upstairs but shook my head I must not be seeing clearly through the smoke. There were six and we killed them all and now their bodies will burn along with this house. I followed suit without another backwards glance as the flames consumed the house.
