Luke's POV
I sat on the end on my bed, guitar in hand. I softly strummed the strings and a faint, sweet noise as I switch from chord to chord. I started to sing to the melody coming from my guitar.
I sang "She sleeps alone. My heart wants to go home. I wish I was, I wish I was beside you. She lies awake. I'm trying to find the words to say. I wish I was, I wish I was beside you"
"That was beautiful." I heard a voice say. I turned to look and see who it was. It was Ashley. She stood there in front of the door looking so beautiful and radiant. Her big brown eyes looking at with a glossy look to them. I just looked back at her, lost for words. "Did you just write that? It's beautiful." She says as she walks towards me and sits next to me on the bed. "Can you play it again?" She asks and I begin to start playing again.
"Within a minute I was all packed up. I've got a ticket to another world. I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go. The silent words are hard to speak. When your thoughts are all I see. "Don't ever leave, " she said to me. When we both fall asleep underneath the same sky. To the beat of our hearts at the same time. So close but so far away. Can you hear me? She sleeps alone."
I start to sing and then she joined me. "My heart wants to come home. I wish I was, I wish I was beside you. She lies awake. I'm trying to find the words to say. I wish I was, I wish I was beside you."
We soon stare into each others eyes, not saying a word. It was soon broken by Ashley beginning to speak.
"Listen Luke I have to tell you something." I continue to stare at her in awe because of her beauty. She grabs me hand in hers and then looks back up into my eyes.
"Wh-what is it." I managed to studded out.
"Luke I wanted to tell you..." "Tell me what?" "No I can't say it." She saw getting up off the bed and waking over to the window. I place the guitar on the stand and walk over behind her where I find her crying. "Ashley please tell" She turns around and looks at me. "Luke I love you."
