James couldn't sleep that night. Only a few hours have gone and already he missed Ann. He missed talking to her before going to sleep and missed hugging her goodnight. He thought he was okay with Ann leaving the house because he was sure that they would see each other again outside. He was wrong though. He was already so used to seeing her everyday and every night that it felt so wrong to not see her tonight before he went to sleep.

Still unable to sleep, he kept reminiscing about the events that happened earlier that night, when Ann said goodbye to him. Again she hugged him so tight and kissed him on the cheek before she left. In his mind, he could still see her crying face before she hid it in his neck and hugged him.

"I'm going to miss you guys, I'm going to watch you everyday..." Ann said to everyone but was looking at James.

"We'll talk after all of this, see you outside..." was all James could say. It was all so fast he didn't have time to say goodbye to her properly. All the other housemates were also saying goodbye to Ann that by the time it was his turn, she was already called to go outside.

"Do you miss Ann, James" Ryan asked him.

"Yeah," Was all he said.

"It's okay, you will see each other in a few days, anyway. Or maybe you'll see each other after a week."

"Yeah."

"Just don't always think about Ann so you won't miss her. There's still Rich, she likes you. Try to spend more time with her, she's very pretty, and nice too. Maybe you'll learn to like her just like Ann."

"It's not the same, Ryan. It will always be different with Ann. Rich is nothing more than a friend. Yeah, she's nice, she's pretty and she does like to please me. But, there's something about Rich that annoys me sometimes. It's like she always tries to impress me, or get my attention. I don't even think she gets me at all. "

"But whenever you're not with Ann, you're with Rich. If she annoys you, why do you spend a lot of time with her?"

"I'm not the one who makes the effort to be with her. She always comes to me. I just don't want to be a jerk to her, that's all."

"Really? Oh, I thought you liked Rich too..."

"Yeah, I like her as a friend. All I'm saying is that Ann's different, and what we have is different."

He fell asleep that night thinking about Ann, and missing her.
