"Oh! What're you doing here?" I was quite shocked to see her here.

"I was looking for you, the two of you." Amanda comes in and sits with us, joining the circle. This is odd and again, shocked that she was actually looking for us.

"Why?" Kyungie asked next but before we proceed any further, I have a question. Did I miss something? Kyungie doesn't sound or look as surprised as I am, she's not even showing the 'what's going on' face or anything. And the way she delivered her question sounded so natural, way too natural. Are they friends?

"Can't I?" Amanda casually sits herself down and grabbed an untouched pair of chopsticks and ate our mandu.

"Well, it's just that..." Kyungie hesitated a bit in wanting to say what she planned to say but I can tell what she was gonna say by her pointing at me with her eyes, so in the end it's still me.

"Look, I'm sorry for what happened to you-" Amanda started but I seemingly found myself not letting her finish her sentence.

"Aniya, it's fine. It wasn't your fault." I rushed but still speaking of only truth.

"Still, I'm sorry that Na Tae had to expose everything out like that. Must be hard." Amanda sympathised then continued like she didn't just blurt something extremely crucial out.

"Wait, Na Tae?" I paused, trying to conform wether I didn't hear that wrongly.

"So it is Na Tae!" Kyungie jumped, almost knocking off her bowl of jajjangmyeon.

"How do you know?" I asked her, making sure that she's not planning something out of this or something.

"She called me last night, asking if I would want to join her." Amanda explained simply without having eye contact with either one of us.

"And you rejected?" I queried, one of my eyebrows raised. Sorry, the fact that Amanda isn't what I thought she was is just not sinking in me just yet.

"I'm not the evil one here. So far as I know, Kyungie knows that. I never hated you, both of you. It's just that I was dragged along by Na Tae since I'm always next to her. And I guess, by being with her I kind of inherited part of her personality." Amanda mentioned, scratching the back of her head.

"Sorry I doubted you then." I apologised to her with a reassuring smile. That means she's on my side then right?

"It's fine, I get where you're coming from." Amanda answered, looking quite... different. A good different.

"So I'm assuming you're not in good terms with Na Tae at the moment." Kyungie commented after.

"You're exactly right. She went too far with this, I don't usually befriend people who go down this low but, Na Tae has been there for me whenever I needed it and we've been together for years." Amanda confessed. So, this is like another story of where she was the unwanted one and Na Tae was the first one ever to talk to her. I can see it in her smile.

"So you're saying?" Kyungie asked, it's a normal thing for humans to always beat around the bush eyy~

"I'm saying that I'm giving her another chance, another chance to gain my trust again." she proudly announced. Na Tae should be thankful to have a friend like her, even after all this Amanda's still willing to give her another chance. I can also see that she's proud of being her friend.

"You're a good person, you know that." I found myself slipping those words out. This is what I get for thinking/talking to myself.

"Yeah, I am nice aren't I?" Amanda jested, playfully flipping her hair.
