Savannah and Landon in MM
Landon
"How long you gon be at Zey's?" I questioned Sav.
She paused for a second before speaking. "Probably not long. Just checking on her really."
"Why I can't come again? I wanna check on her too."
"We need to talk in private."
"But Chris gon be there."
"Yeah, but I'm gonna ask him to leave."
"Savannah look at me."
She turned to me while applying her lipstick. "Hm?"
"You wouldn't lie to me right?"
"No. Of course not."
I nodded, accepting her answer. "Aight, have fun. Love you."
"Love you more." She smiled and left heading to Zeynep's house.
As soon as I was sure that she was out of the house I picked up my phone, going through my contacts and pressing call.
"Hello?"
"Chris, what's the update with the party?"
"You had Sav try on that dress yet?"
"Yeah, it fit. So now we know the sizing for the other dress. I already ordered the shoes. Got the venue, got the resort. All we need is to make sure she don't find out and this go smooth up until her birthday actually get here."
"Alright, I handled everything else."
"Aight man, thank you. I ain't never did this shit before."
"'My nigga stepping all out of his element."
"Forreal, Ima holla though. I'm bout to take a nap."
"Tieddd ass nigga, bye."
"Fuck you." I hung up the phone placing it on the night stand.
I got comfortable in the bed and eventually drifted off to sleep. Life wasn't perfect, but I was hella comfortable. More comfortable than I'd ever been before.
Savannah
"So what do I say?" I held my makeup brushes in my hand while speaking to Landon.
"You say you ain't steal that shit and Walmart some fucking lame-o's. Ya man got more than enough money and you got just as much and don't nobody needa be stealing no gotdamn two dollar baby powder from Walmart." He ranted. "Fucking stupid asses." He mumbled.
"So, I didn't steal it. Got it."
"I said way more than that."
"You're being angry." I laughed. "If I come off like that they probably won't believe me."
"Well fuck em!"
"Landon." I twisted my face up at him, I knew there was no way he was so angry and tense over this situation alone. "What's wrong?"
"I'm over this situation."
I dropped my makeup brush since my face was still baking anyway and stood in front of him forcing him to stop and look at me. "Okay but what's really wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Landon."
"Savannah."
"Anthony."
