Chapter Sixty Four - Strong
- Madeline's POV -
When I finally decide to open my eyes after being awake for a few minutes, I immediately notice the heaviness laying on top of me. I look down and have to stop myself from laughing when I see Martin's head laying on my stomach, one of his arms wrapped around my waist tightly. I admire him, thinking back to our night.
I smile, memories flooding back. We stayed tangled in the sheets for about another thirty minutes after our first encounter. Once I was beginning to feel tired, Martin and I laid there for about another thirty minutes just talking about any and everything. I told him about my mother, he told me about his situation with his father.
Last night, we truly bonded, becoming one together. He was comforting and it was so nice to have someone to talk to again. I could sense he felt the same way. He even opened up to me about a friend back home, her name was Nora. He told me she was the one who ultimately pushed him to come here, which I found sweet.
So now, as I look down at this boy, who is sleeping with his mouth wide open, I can't help but think how unbelievably in love with him I am. Starting to feel hot from how is entire body is practically invading mine, I try my best to scoot out from underneath him.
Once I almost successfully get out beneath of him, I feel a hand wrap around my arm and I squeal slightly when I am pulled down with such force back onto the bed.
"Martin!" I say between my laughter as his fingers start to tickle me slightly. I hear Martin begin to chuckle himself and when my gaze meets him, I'm pulled to him once again.
He stops moving his fingers and his hand now settles at my waist, his eyes admiring me longingly. A smile tugs at his face.
"Morning," he chirps, leaning in placing a small kiss at the side of my mouth. I blush a little, giving him a small smile in return.
"Good morning," I say, "We're you awake the whole time?" I ask him, resting my body down beside of him again. He pulls me to his chest, my head resting there comfortably. His arms wrap around me protectively and I sense him smile.
"You'll never know," he smirks and I roll my eyes, running my fingernails down his chest lightly, "Did you sleep okay?" he asks and I glance up to him nodding.
"Yeah," I say simply, "What about you?" I ask, gazing up past his cheekbones that I am so envious of.
"Yup, best in a month," he winks and I smile at him as I give him quick kiss on his small lips. Martin suddenly heats it up by rolling over so he now resides on top of me.
Our mouths work together seamlessly and I hold his head close to me. After a few moments, he pulls away from me slowly, "Goddamn, I could do that all day," he raises his eyebrows to me and I smile.
