Chapter Five - Amsterdam
- Martin's POV -
I grabbed my orange juice and started to gulp it. I was so fucking tired. I could barely sleep last night. Coming from Europe, the jet lag here was always hell. I looked around at my 'friends' and zoned out their conversations. I ate my toast in silence glancing around the cafeteria, looking for her. My eyes finally found her and I observed her. Not in a creepy way, just out of curiosity. Her brown hair pulled into a low ponytail and from what I could see, no makeup on her face. Unlike my little miss fuck buddy beside of me.
"Martiinn," Karlie's tired voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked over at her to see her looking back with puppy dog eyes.
"What," it was more of a statement than a question. She leaned closer to me. My eyes slowly left her face and down to her chest that was covered by just a thin black tank top. She giggled, making me look back up to her.
"What are your classes again?" She was practically cooing in my right ear. As annoying as she could be, she was still a good fuck every once and while.
"I told you," I groaned putting a grape into my mouth. "We don't have any together," and thank you god for that. Hell, I can't even remember my own classes now that I think about it. I could not help myself but to glance over at the girl I had bumped into, who was laughing at something. Just the fact that she is friends with that scum Haley, makes me want to puke, but who knows what she is actually like.
"I know," she paused looking over where I previously was glancing. Her eyes narrowed slightly. "I'm just... curious," her dark green eyes gave me that puppy dog impression.
"I'm sure you are," I muttered, picking up my toast and taking the last few bites.
"Aye dutchie," Zac, the infamous Canadian, said, amusement in his voice. I looked over at him, feeling tiredness starting to overwhelm me. "You met that girl you ran into yet?"
Ah, here we go. "I mean, I talked to her," I shrugged my shoulders.
"Talked to who?" Karlie's voice came into the conversation. Oh, good lord.
"No one," I tried to buzz it off, knowing that she will just be a bitch to her without even meeting her. Karlie is one of those people, "my way or the highway", which is bullshit. Like I said, good fuck, horrible personality. No one said anything else. They knew me too well to say something that would make me tick.
"Attention all campers!" The whole cafeteria went silent and turned towards the front. "You must be in your first class in ten minutes!" As soon as she said that, almost everyone began to stand up and rush out of the place. I for one, am in no hurry. My ass is fine where it is.
"Ah shit, we're gonna go," Ray and Zaq stood up, not saying anything else. Leaving me with Karlie and Kris (the girl who follows Karlie like a lost dog). Well, now is my cue.
