(Pan's P.O.V.)
I watched as guards and knights were directing the townspeople into the citadel. Others rode their horses into the lower town. I heard a couple saying that they were preparing for a siege and would be closing the gates. Seemed pointless to try and give residence to hundreds of people who would probably die if they didn't no how to bear arms. Not even the palace could hold the many people heading to the citadel for protection. No palace could do so. Not even if they used the hospital. There would be so many people injured and possibly die depending what Camelot was going up against.
The only good thing that came out of this siege was that the knights and guards had stopped looking for me since Ash let me go, telling me not to come back to Camelot. Like I would leave without her. I wasn't going to leave Camelot until I got Ash to come back with me.
"Excuse me, ma'am, do you know why they are conducting a siege?" I asked to an elderly woman, who seemed to be blind since she looked everywhere but at me, and a young girl kept the older woman close to her.
"It's just a rumor, young man, but I heard that the Lord Samuel of Amata is planning to attack Camelot because the Queen brought magic back," she rasped.
"The Queen is also being held in her room as protection. Orders of the witch," the young girl commented. "Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to get my grandmother into the citadel where it's safe."
I smirked slightly at the young girl before transporting myself into the palace.
The servants were running around as were the few guards directing them where to go. None of them bothered to stop and ask me what I was doing in the palace. They were far too concerned with preparing for the siege. Storing up weapons, food, water, anything they would need.
I continued up the stairs until I saw two guards wearing black armor with a red tree. The roots were hanging down and looked as if they were dripping blood. I waved my hand causing the both of them to collapse to the ground and sleep for the time being. I stepped over their bodies and opened the door to see Ash whirl around from the balcony window, holding a knife.
"Who the bloody hell are you?"
I closed the door behind me and removed my hood, revealing myself. She let out a sigh of relief and set her knife down on her desk.
"Pan, what are you doing here? You could be killed!"
"Please, I got past your army without them even bothering to ask who I was."
"The guards outside my chambers were ordered not to let anyone in except my mother."
"I might have used a sleeping spell."
"You did what!" she shouted before covering her mouth with her hand.
"You want to tell me why you kingdom is undergoing a siege and why you're locked up in here? The Ash I know would have been wanting to fight alongside her army."
"Lord Samuel of Amata sent a messenger a few hours ago to give me a choice. I could either reinstate the ban on magic or watch as my kingdom is burnt to the ground. His alternative was for me to give my kingdom to Samuel. Apparently the messenger talked Samuel out of another option. The messenger is now in the cells for the time being. I practically chose war against Amata."
"Shouldn't you be out there planning strategies with your army?"
"My mother felt that it was her obligation to keep me hidden away, so I wouldn't suffer any harm. She plans to use her magic to destroy the Amata army."
"From the looks of your army and how they let me get past them, this Samuel could have easily had warriors sneak in already. He could be planning to attack you from both fronts. Your army wouldn't stand a chance. Even with your mother's magic. They'd kill your people and then go after you. You wouldn't stand a chance."
"They don't know I have magic."
"Not even your magic is strong enough."
"Then I'll fight till my last breath. I won't go down without a fight," she said, walking past me until I grabbed her wrist and yanked her back.
"You can fight all you want, but not even you are enough to defeat an entire army."
"Then help me. You have magic. With both our powers combined, we could be unstoppable."
"Forget Camelot, Ash. Come with me to Neverland. It's where you belong."
"Even if I wanted to go to Neverland with you, how could I? How could I go to a place that I don't even remember?"
"We can find a way to get your memories back."
She looked away for a quick second before meeting my gaze and nodding.
"I think I know of a place where we can go. It should only be a weeks trip at most."
"Where?" I asked.
"The Isle of the Blessed. That's where we could go, but it's only to get my memories back. I can't guarantee that I will leave Camelot though. It is my kingdom."
"It's not your only kingdom."
"What are you talking about?" she asked, looking confused.
"You're the Queen of Neverland," I said just as bells went off.
Ash raced over to the window before turning around to look at me, "They're here. That was the bell signaling the attack."
"We have to go."
"We need supplies if we're going to last that trip."
"I have magic remember. I can get us anything we need," I said as she disappeared behind a changing curtain. I saw the maroon dress she had been wearing being tossed over the the curtain. It was when she stepped out a few minutes later that she was wearing a gray long sleeved shirt with a band of armor around the waist, matched with black pants, and black boots. She grabbed the knife on the table and sticked in her boot before pulling out a sword.
"Let's go. I'm sure my men can hold off Samuel's army until we get back. After all, it's not like Samuel is actually leading the attack."
A/N: So here was Peter's P.O.V. . Again, I apologize for not making it last chapter's P.O.V., but I had to put the last chapter is Ash's so this chapter would make hopefully more sense. It was a last minute change, but I thought it fit better. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. Vote and comment letting me know what you guys thought and what you think about Ash leading Peter to the Isle of the Blessed.
