Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh, nicevibe's back. You know what, just hang on a minute in that pig sty. I might be back. SEE? This is what happens when you take too many jobs on Wattpad and you gotta drop some. You can't do that shit, mans. But that's okay. I love writing articles at 1:13 in the morning.
Today's quote comes from the protagonist of the series himself, my dear, sweet, Kaneki-kun.
"You think something like that would hurt, after all I've been through?"
- To Yamori, Tokyo Ghoul, Episode Twelve
Think about it. The boy's been through so much physical trauma, it's not like he's not used to it. What went done in Anteiku when Aogiri kidnapped him, what happened when he got there, and Yamori got his filthy hands on him. Only when Kankeki started losing himself and losing his mind was he really in pain. And, this is revealed in :re, but Kaneki's mother hadn't been the sweet, dedicated, loving woman Kaneki praised her to be to everyone. No, she was abusive, and treated my sweet little Kaneki terribly. But it's not his fault. He had a memory repression condition.
During his and Jason's fight, Jason breaks Kaneki's leg in quite a few places. But his regenerative abilities, not to mention how numb he's become to physical pain (in contrast to his emotional tolerance level), what Jason does really can't hurt him anymore.
Oh, Kaneki, my love... You've had such an unfair life.
