Mia's POV

"Bag?" Seungkwan asked through the phone.

"Check," I said as I patted my small purse.

"Phone?"

"Duh."

"Condoms?"

"Seungkwan!" I said harshly.

"Just checking!"

Then my phone beeped as I received a text from DK:

I never caught your address, can you send it?

Shit! I don't want him to see what I live in. I quickly lied saying that my apartment doesn't allow cars passing by at this time of day and told him I'll meet him at the park. The park was close to my apartment and him so it worked out fine. Eventually I started to jog to the park and waited on a bench for him.

Then, I saw him. He had his hair gelled to the side/back in a messy but hot fashion and he wore a green and red sweater with some Christmas designs. He flashed a smile and came by my bench.

"You look great," we both said in unison. Then we laughed.

"Shall we get going?" He said.

"Um yeah, sure."

He grabbed my hand gently and my heart skipped a beat. Yet, it didn't seem right for some reason. I ignored that thought and walked with him, hand in hand. We reached his nice car and he opened the door for me.

"Gentleman, much?" I commented.

He laughed, "Oh please, that's Joshua's job."

We both chuckled and drove off. He made some small talk and joked a little bit. He was so kind and funny but something wasn't happening between us. I still was having a great time, though. After the ride, we arrived at a restaurant. It wasn't too fancy, but was still nice.

"Hungry?" he asked. I nodded and we went inside.

The dinner was pretty straightforward. It wasn't terrible, but I felt like he was friend- zoning me occasionally. Then again, he was the one who invited me in the first place. I actually enjoyed most of it. He payed for the meal and we headed to the car.

"Off to the party," he smiled.

I felt slightly nervous to go the party as we started to drive. DK couldn't tell; I've been pretty good at hiding my emotions lately.

"So, Mia, you moved from where? Gimme some background, yo," he joked.

"Oh, you are so not the hip- hop type," I laughed, "Well, I came from California due to some personal family reasons." I didn't include much information about myself considering it was only the first date. "You?"

"My parents are from Korea and I was born there but I lived my life here in the Big Apple. And, we're here."

We arrived more away from the city to a huge house. It was decorated gorgeously with lights. I could see the outline of a lot of people which was a good thing; I wouldn't be easy to notice. DK yet again opened my door and led me in, holding my hand. He opened the door and I immediately saw Gwen and Vernon on the couch, obviously drunk, making out. I shunned my eyes and looked up to DK.

He looked down and asked, "Want me to get you anything to drink? Water? Beer? Vodka? Juice? Haha."

"Just water is fine." He squeezed my hand and headed to the kitchen.

I was a little clueless on where to go, so I merely sat on the couch in a room where shitty Christmas music played. The red sofa was comfortable but seeing a couple on the verge of having sex next to me made me way less comfortable. I left the almost- empty room and bumped straight into a tipsy Hoshi. He immediately grabbed me and dragged me over to a full room consisting of everyone who hated me.
