Josh pulled another chair over and sat down next to me.

We were talking about our favorite bands and just how much music means to us in general.

6:00 came quicker than I expected. I had to unfortunately go home.

He invited me back over to his house later on since I have to go home to my house and eat dinner first.

I guess I'm not the only mommy's boy.

-

I walked down the road, looking for the specific number that he told me.

His blue hair was lightly ruffled and he wore an oversized hoodie and black jeans. "You're welcome in here, Tyler. My mom isn't home, she's working a night shift."

Josh seemed for energetic to give me a tour of it. His house is pretty cool and modern, I like it a lot.

We got to straight to his bedroom. It's a lovely shade of blue with a little bit of a peachy color in some parts.

He pointed to the bed "that's where all the magic happens."

I giggled and he ended up laughing with me also "just kidding, no one ever comes here haha."

-

I sat on the chair in the living room and this adorable black & white cat came rubbing against my leg.

This cat kinda reminds me of Josh. He's fluffy and has that adorable little feel to him.

Josh walked back over and I asked him what's the cat's name?

"I named it "Jishwa", he's like my little furry partner in crime. When I was younger, people would call me that."

I thought that was a really adorable idea. "Jishwa is an adorable cat, by the way."

Josh smiled back as he sat down on the chair next to him. It was silence while I was petting the cat. Josh started the conversation.

He giggled "You brought your ukulele, right?"

I pulled it out of the bag of stuff that I brought over to his house. "Got it."

Josh went over to the table that separated the dining room & kitchen and grabbed a pair of drumsticks " I always have these handy."

I giggled a little as Josh sat back down, directly across from me "Well we're friends now. I guess we can slowly learn about each other as we keep hanging out more and more."

"Random fact: I've always loved the area around here but I've been homeschooled since 3rd grade."

"Alright then. I've been going to the same shitty school and I'm shocked that I haven't been suspended yet. I cause a lot of trouble, whoops."

I giggled awkwardly "Well you seem exciting, I'm boring."

"Tyler, you are exciting. Compared to my other friendships, you're 100% better than them. You are talented."

I blushed a little "I'm not that talented."

Josh gasped "excuse me, mister. You  are talented, stop it saying that you little donut hole.

I just wanted to hug him. I didn't want to make this situation awkward.

"Well Josh, that was sweet. I would hu-" Josh hugged me. I didn't have to make the first move so I hugged him back.

"Tyler, you're such a sweet and kind soul. I'm glad to call you my friend."

I said "I've never really had someone that I could call my friend. That first person is you."

Josh smiled "how about this, give me the music sheets to your songs and tomorrow I'll surprise you with one. I want to play a new song on the drums."

I handed him a song sheet for a song that wrote about 2 months ago.

Josh picked up the paper "this is sick. See you tomorrow."
