This is all happening too fast. First Gigas, now this. This isn't how things are supposed to go. I kept on thinking, careful enough to hide the panic inside my head so as to not startle Giselle.

"Klei?"

Things will be alright soon Overwood. Just stay calm. Stay. Calm. That would be easy if my head could stop thinking and panicking all together.

"Klei."

She's safe for now. Keep her safe. You've done a good job before, right? My pace quickened.

"Kleidriel Overwood II listen to me!"

"H-huh? What?" I looked behind me as if I was in a daze.

"Klei. I've been calling you over and over, but you weren't responding." Giselle looked at me with a worried expression on her face.

"I'm...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." I lowered and scratched the back of my head. "Anyway why were you calling my name?

"What is happening here? Just a few minutes ago I was at the beach and now I'm in some church or whatever this is."
"I know. I'm sorry. This is all too much for you to take in but please. Just be a little more patient and I assure you that your questions will be answered."

Giselle sighed and just gave up asking questions. All I got for her answer was a small nod and a heavy sigh.

We soon reached the meeting room. I opened the wooden doors that had beautiful and intricate designs of trees, vines, and fruits carved skillfully at every nook and cranny. I have lived here for years and yet the architecture of this place still amazes me.

"Here. Make yourself comfortable and well, just wait. Elder Grahm would be here soon."

Giselle took a seat in the corner of the room. I'm pretty sure her head's all messed up now. I have to do something to make her feel more comfortable.

"Hey." I slowly walked towards her. "I know things are messy right now and well I can't exactly do anything about it. But I promise you, everything's going to be alright." I tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"Klei?" She looked at me.

"Yes?

"Who are you?"

"I'm just who I said I was. I'm Kleidriel Overwood II. But well you've guessed that I'm more than just an ordinary high school boy with good looks." I winked at her.

She couldn't help but to let a giggle escape her mouth.

"Good looks? Where?"

"Oh Giselle, it's all over me."

"Haha, in your dreams."

At the very least she's smiling. That's what matters. She also seems to have loosened up a bit. I slowly exhaled as a sign of relief. Seeing Giselle smile is truly something I can rely on to make me a bit calmer. It was like a thousand suns saying 'have a great day' everytime she smiles laughs, or lets out giggles.

A few moments later Elder Grahm went inside the meeting room together with Freya and Leonald. The look on Elder Grahm's face said that he wasn't all that pleased with the outcome of the situation. Who wouldn't be? Things are going haywire and well it throws everything out of balance. But he did his best to maintain composure, especially since Giselle hasn't gotten hold of the situation just yet and any signs of panic might not be good in her mental state.

"Hello Milady." Elder Grahms mustered up a smile and bowed.

"Oh, umm, h-hello." Giselle got up from her seat to return Elder Grahm's bow.
